I think you are referring to my thread on this. Yes, It's definitely not a real offroad machine, I see that now. With various bits and bobs and swapping the suspension with waaay more travel it would be adequate.
Regardless, I am enjoying mine immensely.
The 600 mile service on my V7II was very simple. It's just a matter of warranty, which to my knowledge only covers factory defects anyway. If you have past maintenance experience on cars, bikes; spend the time to get intimate with your machine and save some bucks.
Hopefully someone can clarify...
News to me and I'm definitely interested to see what they produce. I don't imagine it being much more than a styling exercise again though. I understand the Scrambler thing is hot right now but at least Ducati came out with a fairly capable machine in their Desert Sled.
I hope they push the...
Imitation is the best form of flattery? That disgusts me but, looking through their catalog I hope the bikes are good because those prices definitely are.
That is whacked man :punch:
Thanks everyone. I like to use my possessions - I can only baby them for so long. It brings a freedom that you can not get otherwise. I know the Guzzi can take it :h:
Thanks and I will definitely be posting when the parts start rolling in. Especially being the Stornello isn't too well...
I've been wanting to take my first financed, Italian hand made, pseudo enduro bike off road since I first got it! Doesn't sound too smart... Happy to report it went great and with a few modifications it will be quite formidable among ADV bikes on the market.
The down low torque was perfect for...
I agree, roadscum. I still want that blue Special badly even with my beloved Stornello. Well, I suppose it's just the beginning of my future collection. Lol!
And great mileage for 6 weeks. Keep on keeping on friend!
Sorry about the incident, Bob. I had something similar with my old Sportster but cleaned my hands of it before I got in there. I wish you and your wallet the best.
Noticed this a little while ago on my Stornello and although this is my first Guzzi, I don't believe this was intended.
It seems the right mount is installed slightly higher than the left. No particular reason for the thread other than it is a good idea to document factory mistakes.
Wow very detailed. I wouldn't have made them so bright personally but it does fit the fun, care free attitude of the v7s. Good stuff.
Theres not too much out there for Guzzi fan art.
Thanks. Dissapointed you put me under the V7 II Special section though lol!
Thanks Rob. I was on the fence about holding off for the release of the V7 III in that beautiful blue or the Triumph Street Scrambler. Ended up with this but, of course you can't help but think of the others (buyer's...
Michael Molter here, 20 yrs old, still a fairly new rider. Started on a 1990 Sportster 1200 bobber deathtrap and had fun for a while, sold it, and bought my 2016 V7 II Stornello from Freedom Euro Cycle of Las Vegas (Great dealership) and had it shipped all the way to South Carolina at my new...
