    V9 luggage / saddlebags ???

I used the PL8202, but I bought it in May 2019 when they were still available. I've noticed that SW Motech makes adapter hardware for the Givi boxes that bolts onto their full size racks, but of course, they don't seem to make those for the V9 either.

    V9 luggage / saddlebags ???

I ended up getting the full set of Givi Dolomiti boxes for mine. Fully loaded for a cross country trip however, it only took a couple hundred miles to decide that the top-box was a mistake, and I left it with a friend (along with the windscreen). I finished the trip with a Kriega bag and...

Givi Rack issue for aftermarket shocks

Thanks for posting this. I have been scratching my head about shock upgrades for a while, as I would like to keep my Givi rack, but it's starting to look like that's not possible.

    UV damage

The fire breath on my six-legged Agip dog has started to fade as well. Although to be fair, my bike has frequently lived outside in sunny So-Cal, and has been ridden across the country and back in the middle of summer.

    UV damage

Much the same on my 2017 V9. The black plastic turn signal housing, especially, has turned gray and started to deteriorate. The boots around the injector control wires actually started to crack and split about a month after I bought it. And my starter button broke as well, although that doesn't...

MGCT and ABS Blink and Speedo Swings

Might check the speed sensor cable near the wheel. A couple years ago my V9 did this sporadically before the speedometer stopped working entirely. Turns out the cable was loose and rubbing on the brake rotor, which chewed through the insulation and shorted it out.

Thought I would share - Griso Americano

I've seen this build on Instagram. I think it's gorgeous!

V9 Registry & Picture thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Same here. The Roamer makes more sense in person than it does in photos. I went to the dealership intending to buy a V7, and rode away on a V9.

    V9 Bobber broken shift linkage

From what I can tell on mine, the linkage bolt backed itself out more than half way, and then snapped. Since having it replaced I've been checking it regularly, and after 9000 more miles it hasn't caused any problems.

    V9 Bobber broken shift linkage

The exact same thing happened to mine at about 4000 miles, also with the euro foot controls. It was replaced under warranty, and the dealer told me I was the second person who'd brought a V9 back with that issue.

    V9 Opinions

I actually just did the remap a few weeks ago, partially because of the bluing pipes.

My V9 is going under the knife this weekend

Looks really good on that Bobber! I'd be interested to know how it affects the handling. I've tried fork mounted windscreens on my V9, but eventually gave up on them because of the way they affected the front end feel (and because of the buffeting).

    Merry Christmas

We were making Christmas ornaments out of Sculpey clay and Testors paint this year, so I made my V9. Missed some details working from memory, but I was pretty happy with it.

    V9 Opinions

I did it myself. Doing one side at a time, the chassis seemed to support itself fine with only one side bolted together. It was way easier than installing the cargo rack. The only problem I've had with it is the supplied longer bolts have started to rust a bit.

    V7 loose fasteners

It didn't. This was on the Guzzi-provided rear sets that were installed by the dealer prior to sale. I have the old style foot controls in a box, though, and they are indeed marked with the yellow paint.

    V7 loose fasteners

On my 2017 V9 (4k miles), the shift linkage ball joint bolt worked it's way out of the shift lever without my noticing, and eventually snapped in half. The tech at Pro Italia said it was the second one they'd had come back with that issue.

    V9 Opinions

They are the Givi TN8202 Crash Bars. I liked them because I thought they were less obtrusive than other designs that wrapped around the cylinder heads, or came up over the pipes. They're also the same brand as my cargo rack and luggage. Thanks for the tip, I wasn't aware that running an LED at...

    V9 Opinions

Just got back from a 1000 mile trip on my V9. The bike handled great on the highway, and had plenty of passing power when I needed it. The seat got a little uncomfortable after a while, but I don't find it as bad as other people seem to. The Dart screen I installed reduced my body fatigue at...
