    GTM Cal-14 Exhaust

Do you make an h-pipe without the flex joint?

Where is the flex joint in the system? I do not see it in any of the pics.

Rattely tappet noise? manufactured or historic?

Thanks. I guess it's just "character".

    Anyone have a smoke machine?

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of piggy-back systems. I wish I could write maps for this like I could for my V11 sport.

    Anyone have a smoke machine?

It only has a slight crackle on low RPM decel. Actually sounds nice. I’d love to see AFR readings before purchasing. My last bike was a RSV4 RF, a 2016. Conventional wisdom said that a remap or race ECU was necessary with a slip-on muffler. So I welded in bungs in the stock exhaust and the...

    Anyone have a smoke machine?

What are the trailing throttle AFR readings? Almost every modern vehicles go from 16.0:1 to 20:0:1 (limit) during trailing throttle without popping.

Rattely tappet noise? manufactured or historic?

When you did your valve adjust, did you wait overnight?

    Anyone have a smoke machine?

I do. Used to have an auto repair shop. Smoke machines help find vacuum and exhaust leaks, very valuable tools. Just for grins, thought I would check my Audace. My dad has a 2014 California. What a joke! Every slip joint on the bike was puking smoke. Smoke machines run low pressure too...

Rattely tappet noise? manufactured or historic?

Mine sounds exactly the same. I’ll post a video when I get a chance.

Rattely tappet noise? manufactured or historic?

I did read that thread. It was interesting. Didn’t really see what the outcome was. This is my 4th Guzzi. The only thing that is concerning is that it is only on the RH bank. Perhaps it is something that will change with mileage. It definitely is worse when it’s warm, perhaps we have twin...

Rattely tappet noise? manufactured or historic?

Anyone have one side that makes more noise than the other? Getting valvetrain noise from the RH bank, at 3000 RPM, above that it comes and goes. Triple-checked the valve clearance, and have even tried the .005/.007 settings to no avail. Bike has 2200 miles on it. Any known tensioner issues...

Is going from a 14 Cali Custom to an MGX an upgrade?

Bike choice is personal. If it's worth it to you, then go for it. There are advantages and disadvantages to every bike, and only you can decide if it's best for you.

Gearbox Oil Access Bolt - Frozen or Just Tight?

Needs to be a socket and wrench, I doubt an allen wrench will do it. Also, do it after a ride while the case is still hot.

    Audace Pipe Paint

Long shot here...anyone here know of a match of a code for the paint on the Audace exhaust? Need some touch-up.

    Oh No - Not Tires

What are people running for pressures with the Cobra's?

    C14 - Stop the moaning whale - Tip/Evap

The tip valve looks like the tank vent valve on my RSV4 RF. Out of curiosity, why do you need to open/replace the valve, besides eliminating the noise (which my Audace does not have)?

    C14 - Stop the moaning whale - Tip/Evap

Forgive my ignorance, but couldn't you just remove and plug the intake, and leave the rest of the plumbing as-is? That way the fuel vapors are still filtered by the charcoal, and you still eliminate your controlled vacuum leak.
