    Headlight low-beam not working

Quick question...I've looked at the wiring diagram which says those relays are on the LH side. Am I reading the diagram wrong or did you mean to say LH side panel? I have to try and tackle this project myself looks like

    Headlight low-beam not working

Hello! I haven't looked at my issue at all. I wouldn't even know where to start, I'm not mechanically inclined at all. I'll probably bring it somewhere to have it fixed.

    Headlight low-beam not working

Guys I greatly appreciate all your feedback. So based on that, I should probably start disassembling the headlight and check for burnt bulbs and then if that checks out proceed to the removal of the gas tank for the relay? Do you happen to know the part # for that relay? Again, thanks for the help.

    Headlight low-beam not working

Searched but context didn't quite fit my case. So basically I have parking lights only working. No low-beams. Hi-beams work fine when I flip the switch. One would normally check for bulbs but I'm very suspicious that both would actually burn out at the same time. What else could be going on...

You CAN buy the clutch lever pushrod assembly separately!

I just ordered and received that part. Plug and play perfect fit on my Vortex levers. I had to use Blue Loctite because vibrations made the adjuster losen up and move, causing too early of a release.

    Norge Windshield washers

Thanks V700. For future reference, part number is GU269787. They call it special washer nero, not cover. Took me a while to figure that out.

    Norge Windshield washers

I know this is a very old thread, but I was wondering if this guy is still around. Two of those cracked on my Norge and I'm looking for replacement. Interestingly, the parts manual doesn't even list those, unless I missed them somehow.

    Plate light replacement

well, I thought I'd give you an update FWIW. That's how you replace a broken plate light. 1. Disassemble the entire rear end of the bike. 2. Replace part 3. Reassemble. Quick and easy..yeh...:nerd: PS: I painted the mud guard while I was at it...[/IMG]

    Plate light replacement

Exactly...it states it is a complex operation and blah blah go dish out your wallet at the dealer's. I really would like to give it a try. I'll take it to the dealer for more important stuff. Hopefully someone here knows what steps are involved.

    Plate light replacement

Thanks for the reply Dinsdale! The issue in my case is that the wire either wasn't there to begin with (never paid attention to it), or it fell behind the cowl/fender (whatever is called) where the plate goes. I am not sure how to access the inside of that, there appear to be bolts and screws...

Need help finding VIN number on motorcycle

LOL! OMG seriously? I tried and sure enough it is there! Although on my bike the whole VIN is not visible because it's covered by wires that seem pretty hard to move out of the way. But hey let that be documented on the thread. Thank you!

Need help finding VIN number on motorcycle

Dale thank you so much! I followed your instructions and I was able to pull the tank back to expose the VIN plate. What a joke...I I'll take a pic and leave it like that for the officer to inspect. Thanks again!

Need help finding VIN number on motorcycle

Yes I do see that. I just assumed the VIN wasn't there because quite frankly that is an absurd location to put it....I read your other post about moving the tank back. I'll try and see what happens. Unbelievable though...LOL Thanks for the help Dale! I'll post back with an update! ;)

Need help finding VIN number on motorcycle

Thanks Dale! I have a 2009 Norge I wonder if the location is the same. Out of curiosity...how do you move the fuel tank back? I hope you didn't mean I have to take the fuel tank apart?

Need help finding VIN number on motorcycle

That's what the manual says. But I looked everywhere on the steering head and could not find it. I know the bike has a good title (meaning not rebuilt or salvaged, etc.) it's been registered in NY for 5 years no problems. I'm baffled...if I can't find the VIN on this bike I won't be able to...

Need help finding VIN number on motorcycle

Hello folks, I'm new here. I searched similar threads but I couldn't find what I am looking for. I need to register a 2009 MG Norge in Florida, where a VIN visual inspection is required by a police officer. When the officer showed up to my house we searched everywhere but could not find where...
