Hi Welcome...I have a 2008 and just had my cams done at 19,000 miles..was no vibration before I had them done!! Just a tapping/ slight knocking from left cylinder.
Mine still rode smooth, no vibration..and nothing from Handel bars or mirrors even now. Check your tyres are seated correctly, as...
Managed to get my stainless injector guards on... In the end I grinded off the 3rd mounting bracket hole "metal forks" that mount on the bolt that's restricted by the frame tube from removing.. As I think the 2 bolts on outside of intake manifold will hold it perfectly.. thanks for everyone's help.
Have tried a 4mm Allen key - too big..3mm is to small..but have managed to get the out side screw head undone with a S2 -20 Torx bit..fitted perfect...but still have a issue with inner screw as frame tube is restricting height
Hi everyone hope you are all well and keeping safe... Iam trying to fit some stainless injector guards...but I'am struggling with the size of the I presume ! HEX screws..see photo..have tried a T15 but it's to loose..hopefully they are not damaged from being removed before..can anyone point me...
I have noticed on my 2008 stelvio the rubber covers on the injector cable ends have perished!!..on removing lead from injectors there was water siting in connectors, as anyone else had this issue..they looked ok till you moved them and you could see holes/ cracks in covers. What's the best fix...
Bike back...was a failing in E.C.U..causing misfire on left cylinder and issues with dash and Speedo.. after new cams fitted.. just one of those things...got a brand new ECU from Poland £300 .. new old stock from when Guzzi sold aload of over stock off a few years ago...so a bargain.
Hi..I know this is a old thread...but my 08 as had/ got same issues...went in a well known and respected guzzi dealer over here in UK..to have the cams up dated...hat off to guzzi for standing by a 11yr old guzzi and supplying the cams etc free of charge as done 19,000 miles but was getting...
Hi..can anyone tell me what the white 2 pinned female socket is that runs up the side area of were the 12v socket is under rear seat...I think it as blue wires feeding it? Many thanks.
