Despite the fact that it never rains in the UK :o this sounds excellent. I was wondering about the fit when folk also have the Skidmarx hugger on, as I do. Looking at your pics and back and forth to my bike I think it should be no problem. At worst I would have to cut about 1cm off the corner...
Hello again folks. My Breva 1100 has the same recurring problem that the rear tyre wears out. I take it out of the garage, turn it on, ride it. That fuel stuff keeps needing topped up as well. This bike is SO unreliable :D (you'll wish you hadn't said that! - ed)
Anyho... I usually...
Graham,
Keep posting if you have the time. You have been fantastic for Breva info and you'll be a sad loss to Brevadom.
But... it's only a bike.
Keep well.
Pete
good shout. I see it is 14-flute?? I thought the UFI filter was 8 flute.
Also available here: http://www.avenue35.co.uk/
£2.95pp so about the same price... unless I buy an 8 and a 14-flute
Too many variables in play to make comparisons. I pay £120 fully comp through the AA. 3yrs NCB Age 51 full bike licence since I was 17. Your postcode makes a massive difference to premiums, mine must be classed as relatively "safe"
Re:the cost of money, or, of witholding safety dat
Hands free is fine.
Let's ban radios, cd players etc. in the car, oh, and while we're at it you will NOT be allowed to hold a conversation with any passenger while driving.
I remember Bill Hagan commenting on a whine when changing to Pilot Road 2's. I thought that was a bit daft but when I rode without my ear plugs there was a buzz discernible from the front tyre.
I fixed this by riding faster so the engine/exhsust/wind nose drowned it out.
I've used the "whack a couple of screwdrivers through the filter and lever a crow bar between them" to loosen a filter.
It never seems to work that well for tightening the new one though ;-)
I thought I'd read on here that it is NOT a level plug and you have to just put the required cc in?? Even so it sounds like it was a bit low!. Not sure what happens if you put in more than required. Worth draining and filling with correct ammount?
oh... and send the bill to the garage!
