    2005 V7 Breva Odometer stuck on 99999

Thanks John, I will get a photo of the dash showing the Odometer at 99,999 and post it here. The bike belongs to a friend of mine and has had no major problems with it. Lots of tyres and oil, one battery, fork seals, a rattly muffler baffle, steering head bearings, diff seal.

    VDST Battery voltage

Thanks Graham, I wonder if all the Guzzi EFI model's show this difference when using the VDST software?

    VDST Battery voltage

From what I can see the VDST displays the information provided by the ECU and is not measuring the voltage itself. I would assume that the ECU has been calibrated at some stage with regard to how it reads the bikes voltage as supplied at the ECU. It's good to know that this is a common...

    VDST Battery voltage

Thanks NOLAGuzzi, Yes I know about the Alfaline_0 channel. The channel which displays 3.1 degrees for the assigned tps idle value after a TPS reset. This particular bike has play at the pivot point of the linkage adjustment plates which causes the right hand throttle to vary along with the...

    VDST Battery voltage

Some motorcycle ECU's have correction factors based on battery voltage as read by the ECU. I'm not sure about the one in the Breva. I am using VDST as a diagnostic tool which is it's intended use and expect the information displayed (including battery voltage as read by the ECU)to be correct or...

    VDST Battery voltage

A difference of more than 1.5volts between what is measured at the battery with a known reliable and accurate multimeter compared to what is displayed by the VDST software seems very excessive. I know my electrical theory, I was hoping that someone else may have the same bike and the same...

    VDST Battery voltage

I assumed that the aligator clips on the interface lead were for powering the interface and that the program displayed the battery voltage as read by the ECM. I have verified the voltage at the battery with two digital multimeters and one analogue meter.

    VDST Battery voltage

When using the VDST setup on a V7 Breva: The displayed battery voltage is only 11.2volts but the voltage when checked with a digital meter at the battery shows 12.9volts. Why the difference? Any ideas. Cheers.
