    V85TT Mods Thread

So it appears that they have changed the part number once again? My order (2B0024475) is still on back order too....

Your 02-Optimizer works differently to such more basic solutions I guess Todd. I've had one fitted one to my Breva v1100 since 2011.

    V85TT Mods Thread

Looking for some compatible short brake & clutch levers. Any ideas as to which bikes also carry the same levers as the V85TT to widen the possible options? So far (apart from incompatible cheap eBay ones) I haven't found any.

    V85TT Mods Thread

I confirm Chris's remarks reference the heated grips replacement throttle body action being lighter on the wrist than the original. Much better - it's as the bike should have been from the go - perfectly weighted now. In an attempt to improve the harshness of the ride on UK roads, I reduced...

    V85TT Mods Thread

Thanks Chris, Buying the V85TT was my first new bike purchase experience and I found them honest and a good dealer. Mine developed a leak from the RHS cylinder head gasket which was promptly fixed at the first service with no repeat of the fault. Does the replacement throttle body have a...

Good news, thanks Chris. Did Teasdale charge for fitting? I'd expressed a desire for them to be fitted at original order.... Do you mind me asking what they invoiced you? Rgds, Neil

    V85 TT Info

I've put my deposit down on a Silver one, not so struck on the red frame & please nick me colours for a travel bike :D Our local dealer had 10 yellow & white ones delivered (don't know how many have been bought yet!) when I enquired about the availability of the single colour bike he was able...

    Breva V1100 fork oil change

As an experiment I tried 500ml of SAE10 fork oil. It didn't work as the front end was wayyyy too harsh - so I took the front end apart and went back to 450ml. Haven't had chance to ride it yet, but I've got my eye on one of the Matris FM100KE kits if I'm not happy...... :D I've got a feeling...

    B11 - Intermittant Headlight & Instrument lighting

I'd been on a long-ish stretch of rippled road over the Yorkshire Dales when I noticed that the headlight was off as I pulled up to a car at a junction, thinking that the bulb had blown, I then also noticed the led backlighting of the instruments was off too. Later after some more undulations...

    indicator bulb

No, I fitted them to both front and rear on my Breva. No resistance issues - they just work as they should. I could make a joke about them being intermittent..... but that'd be just lame. <<Remembers Father Dougal and the Christmas Tree lights on "Father Ted" with a smile>>...

    indicator bulb

Probably posted somewhere before, but here's an alternative. Not cheap by any means, but they are bling 8-) http://www.weiser-motorrad.com/proddetail.php?prod=wbeta002#reviews Also listed on eBay.

    Breva 1100 Fuel Maps

Thanks Art, I've gone the same way as you and have a similar setup. Just got back from a short break away and Todd's Optimizer was sitting on the doorstep. Busy unpacking etc. so I too will be fitting it this weekend. :) I thought that if I ever changed bike it'd swap over to the new...

    Breva 1100 Fuel Maps

+1. John, you are a Gentleman and a scholar :) This Guzzi Luddite now understands, coming from inferior UJM's and being used to balancing carbs with vacuum gauges, I did wonder.... Thanks.

    Breva 1100 Fuel Maps

Thanks John, but I'm a bit confused by that. Why should a mechanical imbalance of throttle vacuums affect the position & electronic setting value of the TPS? Is the TPS mounted in a position where it's essentially adjusted as you balance the TB's? I guess so. Sorry for my ignorance on the...

    Breva 1100 Fuel Maps

Cheers Pete. I guess it's a case of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm not getting any popping on the overrun and the bike does run much better than it was stock. I'll knock up a manometer myself and have a go at balancing the TB's. Before I got hold of it, the bike had a comprehensive...

    Breva 1100 Fuel Maps

Sorry, that link leads to V7 tank removal  Yep, I'm aware of the reflash, PC and Autotune options Todd offers, but I can't spread to that. Latest and most suitable MG map from a dealer with Todd's 02 Optimiser is as far as I can go.... I understand there might be a later map to the...

    Breva 1100 Fuel Maps

I've been searching the forums and web for info as regards maps. I've done as much as I can afford to do tweaking the Breva - Cat and snorkel removed, added new baffleless end can, K&N filter and Todd's O2 Optimiser is winging it's way across the Atlantic. Next would be an updated MG fuel map...
