Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. It’s just a cheepie of amazon.co.uk. A lot of the guys here have the one from Held but it’s £50, that cost £12 and it takes my waterproofs . I agree with the idea of making the clamp black, maybe next time I take it off.
TC is set to 1. You approach a roundabout, start to brake and when you hit the ridge across the road (bloody British roads!), the front skips slightly and when the wheel touches down again, there is no braking for a short time even though you still applying pressure to the lever. Like it...
Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else. Over here in the UK, our roads are pretty rubbish with lots of pot holes and ridges; mix in the 'not the best' front shocks on our V7iii and I keep getting a situation where I'm braking, hit a ridge and because the front wheel is off the...
It's a cheapie off amazon, cost about £12 but holds my waterproofs. A few of the guys here had the Held one which looks good but at £49, quite expensive. Don't know if the link below works, fingers crossed...
It's just a photo of 3 Guzzi... Anyway, people shouldn't judge until they've been there and it wasn't a protest, just a ride in support; to poorly quote Thumper's mum, "if you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all". :)
Guys, just attended the above event when 22,000 bikes (Met Police Figure seemingly) converged on London last Friday. The Met closed Park Lane which then proceeded to fill up, obviously. I just so happened to park up next to 2 other Guzzi, a V7i Racer, V7ii Racer and my V7iii Carbon. Great day...
I saw an article somewhere on here that dropping your forks was a good thing to do, well tried it at the weekend and the difference is massive. The handling of my V7iii Carbon was okay but didn't inspire that much confidence (could be the standard tyres) but after lowering by 15mm, amazing...
I got some black 40mm waste pipe from B & Q here in England and wrapped that; they just clip on and off when i'm washing the bike. I've used the pipe before with a couple of jubilee clips when changing the fork seals on my EV.
On a similar vein, I used to up and down shift on my 2003 EV without the clutch, well 3, 4 & 5th anyway. I do this now on my Carbon Dark with no problems, obviously you need to get the revs right :). Anybody know if the V7's gearbox is okay with this?
Hi, not new to Guzzi (2003 Cali EV Hydro from new) but new to this site. Me with Voldermort and the wife's Fiat, Lola.
