Norge GT 8V (2nd generation) handlebar risers

Angel, spacers might not work because the base of the riser is not flat. This is from my 08 Norge with spacers for the Breva. Notice the sharp ziz zag. Search the net, but probably NLA.

V65 SP 1984 valve/spring upgrade to avoid dropped valves

I also have a leaking head gasket and in the process of opening the head. I compared part numbers of the valves and springs of the V65 SP to the V65 Florida and my '91 V65GT. Not surprisingly, they list the same numbers. I don't think my engine was ever opened, so it probably has the stock...

    Guzzi V65 Cafe Racer

Very cool transformation. I have the 1991 version, also called Sessantacinque GT, still in original clothing.

    Guzzi V65 Cafe Racer

Almost fooled me to think it's a V75 racer. What year and model originally?

Small block Registry & Picture thread

Four years ago I shipped my father's bike from Rome to Massachusetts. Dismantled it, short of cracking the engine case, scraped off engine paint and got replacement parts as far as the Netherlands. I can finally enjoy it. After running around all over central Italy, this small block now gets to...

    1978 V50 oil leak

Is that engine oil or is it from the gear box vent? Did you replace the gear box oil and how much did you refill? You could try attaching a hose to the vent to see if it collects oil. Search the internet for remedies for this annoying vent.

OEM Parts and related at the GTM STORE

I'm sorry. I am likely to blame for derailing the conversation by having mentioned you know who. If it helps my apology, I also search here for parts. Not much luck for a 30 year old bike. However I just acquired a 2008 Norge, so... new possibilities! This is a great site to look for help...

    Master cylinder disassembly/rebuild

Wow $23! Is it in stock? What bike is this and what's the kit number? I just ordered a kit for my V65GT for €50 from Europe and 8 weeks lead time.

    Looking for used clutch plate

Thanks for the suggestion. Curtis said he'll look into it and call me back. 🤞

    Looking for used clutch plate

I read somewhere that for loctite to stick well, the parts need to be clean. So I'm thinking no oil. The crimp alone should be good enough, so I could add a drop of oil. Thanks for the tip. But without the spline tool, I'm stuck.

    Looking for used clutch plate

Hello Folks, I am looking for a worn out small block clutch plate, part number 27084460. I need the hub (22mm) to hold the main shaft and tighten the nuts in the gear box (old V65). I don't think the plates get resurfaced, so I am hoping they are collecting dust in a dark corner. Willing to pay...

Proper color code for 1980 V50 II

Nice job on the wheel and frame. What paint did you use on the frame? I had a similar table of parts. I finally put everything in boxes and labeled them. I already forgot what's what. Have you seen this site: colorrite.com/department/moto-guzzi-10021.cfm Again no guarantee it's what was used...

Proper color code for 1980 V50 II

I might use that on my aluminum wheels. I had the kickstands and rear wheel hub cap blasted and powdered coated black. I figured that stuff needs robust paint. My whole engine has a light gray paint that melts with strong cleaners. Simple Green worked well for degreasing. Unfortunately the...

Proper color code for 1980 V50 II

Martino, I found the attached paint list somewhere online. It doesn't cover your bike, but I would bet Guzzi has always been using Lechler paint (factories near each other). Perhaps more research would lead to universal codes that a paint store could recreate. My V65GT engine is out of the...

    [Florida V65 1992] Problem with ECU/CDI unit

The Motoplat modules were prone to failure. My V65 was converted to old fashioned mechanical points by previous owner, so I'm not sure what's involved with that. Best of luck.

Confused about oils for Sessantacinque GT

Hello Guzzisti, I just joined bc I acquired my father's 1991 Sessantacinque GT with 33,000 kM. I shipped it to the US and I am putting it back in shape, trying to stick with original parts. New tires, brakes, battery, mirrors, turn signals and yes... oils. I am drunk with reading posts about...
