    Stutter problem on my B1100

Where exactly is the stepper motor located? I'm guessing the oil your referring to is a light weight oil so I could try cable lube to see if it helps. Thanks sooo much.

    Stutter problem on my B1100

Yea I took the air hose and blew it back towards the tank but it didn't seem to help.

    Stutter problem on my B1100

I have an update that may lead to somebody helping me. Since adding the Techron inj. cleaner it has made the studder milder or maybe it has just changed on it's own. I have also pinned down when it does it the most, between 3000 and 4000 RPM. It seems it does it when I'm in a higher gear in...

    Stutter problem on my B1100

I wish that was it but I have refueled several times since it first started but I will check the drain pipe as you suggested. Could the fuel sensor have anything to do with it possibly? If I can't find the problem soon It will have to go to the shop $$. Thanks!

    Stutter problem on my B1100

It does it under acceleration and constant throttle. I have the tank off but can't see anything like bare wires or loose connections anywhere, I have pulled on any wires that I can get my fingers on hoping to find something not quite right. I checked the ground, it's good and tight.

    Stutter problem on my B1100

My o6 Breva 1100 with 59,500 miles is giving me fits. At times it will act as if it is losing spark or fuel but only for an instant than it's fine. It does this in hot or cold conditions some times once in 20 miles other times 2-3 times in 20 miles. I have only been riding it to work and close...

Homemade baffles for my Griso. Opinions wanted.

After adding a .200 hole to the bottom and opening up four of the upper most holes to .300 I took it out for a 50 mile spin. Too loud with more popping and it seems to have lost some of the deep tone. I plugged the bottom hole and will take it out when the roads clear of salt.

Homemade baffles for my Griso. Opinions wanted.

He's the one I got the Mistral from. Too loud for me with his mods which has led me to this point. The weather here is supposed to be crap for the next week so I won't be able to do any "testing". I need me a dyno!

Homemade baffles for my Griso. Opinions wanted.

Yea I expected the need pics reply. I took it out for a ride today after opening up 4 of the holes by .100 each, it now sounds more to my liking. I don't want it too loud, more of a deep tone which I think I now have. See,I had Ducati's for about 15 years and I LOVE the way they sound so I'm...

Homemade baffles for my Griso. Opinions wanted.

I machined from aluminum billet a db killer for a Mistral slip-on for my 11' Griso. I wasn't happy with the sound from the modified one that I got with the used Mistral so I figured why not make one. What I have is a conical shape 1" at the small end with a 7degree taper and overall length of 4"...

    2006 Breva V1100 WONT START!!!

Just my two cents... I have an 06 B1100 now with 37,000+ miles and it is THE most enjoyable motorcycle that I have owned. That includes Ducati's, HD's, Honda's, Suzuki's, etc. Once you get it sorted out you may not have to touch it for many miles, mine has been problem free for the last two years...

    GT Motors. Lansing. Michigan.

I always look them up at Vintage Days to get a t-shirt but he hasn't had any the last two years so I've had to look elsewhere. Nice guy and he knows his stuff.

    Griso SE matte paint polish

I've been using Formula 2000 a Armor All type product on mine with good results. It brings the color out and protects the finish the same as it would plastic. The water really beads up on it when washed. Yes I wash mine and it has never been rained on either. The Breva gets all the rain riding...

Some questions on the Griso SE.

Yea, I pretty much ring it's neck and my B1100's too. They seem to like it that way. The 4v is much quieter than the SE and I expected that but the fact the left cyl.is louder on start up and till warm kinda has me bugged.

Some questions on the Griso SE.

I was kinda hoping for some insight into the noisy vales on the left cylinder. I'm thinking since it quiets down after less than a mile of riding that it's an oiling or heat related thing. Does this sound possible?

Some questions on the Griso SE.

I do the valve adjustment after the bike has sat over night so it's as cold as it's gonna get.

Some questions on the Griso SE.

I have about 2200 miles on my SE now and have some questions. Is the idle supposed to be 1500 rpm with the clutch lever pulled in and 1100 rpm with the lever out? Mine does this. The left cylinder is noisy on start up and till about a mile down the road than quiets down like the right one. I...

    Crummy headers?

If that still needs done then IMO they are still the crummy ones. I read in MCN that they were actually flaking off plating so I guess it could be worse. They might look better if they were black on the SE so I may have an option there.

    Crummy headers?

I've got a Griso SE coming next month and was wondering if it's gonna have the header pipes that turn to crap after a few thousand miles? I know my B1100 has staining issues in spots that I just Scotchbrite out but I want the Griso to stay nice an shiny not brushed looking.
