My Mandello pulls to the left. Does anyone else's?

My V100 is the most neutral tracking bike I have ever owned. In fact it is so good I am constantly amazed as to how stable it is especially at slow speeds. I would be looking at tires and another thought are the roads crowned excessively where you live? kk

    Anyone with factory panniers?

There is a tab in the mechanism that can be trimmed off so that the key can be removed locked or unlocked. I don't remember exactly how I did it but it is not a big deal to do it. The Segway cases on my V7 work the same way but no easy fix if any at all but the bike is only used in my basic area...

    Grip change

Riding Harleys for a few years I became used to larger diameter grips. I have grip puppies on mine. Work for me and I find that larger grips allow for more accurate throttle control reducing surging. JMHO. kk

    Flaking paint on crankcases 🙁

I didn't either. I wondered why my link to an expresso maker was an issue when it wasn't a competing product for anything sold on this site. Now I know. kk

    My Bike won't start

Replace both, batteries are cheap. The light will also flash if the ECU can't talk to a sensor. Mine did it when the ECU couldn't make contact with the oil pressure sensor due to a tech not seating a connector securely. kk

Weird tire wear pattern - anybody want to read the tea leaves?

This is what I was getting at. Looks like a defect in the tire. kk

    Worthless V100 tire thread

    Mine are "A"s also. kk

Weird tire wear pattern - anybody want to read the tea leaves?

Do those bulges if that is what they are, hard to see what they are from the picture, go all the way around the tire? Or are they just in this one location? kk

Thoughts about the V100 after one year

Everybody seems to b***h about the stock Angel tires but have no complaints. Handle well but I don't have enough miles on them to comment on longevity but if I get 9,000 miles out of them I will be happy. The Pirellis on my V7 and Bonneville were terrible, never met a groove they didn't like and...

    V100 Error Messages

Mine was impossible to get into neutral from 2nd or 1st when stopped no matter how much, within reason, pressure was put on the shifter. I would have to shut the engine down. Now that I have managed to find enough descent weather I am now at 1,000 miles. The shifting is much better and getting...

    V100S Pricing

OEM's are adding vents on their shields, Harley for one. I didn't word it very well. Putting the shield mid-way in its adjustment is essentially doing the same thing as far as I can determine. I looked at the CalSci shields on their website, they are pretty tall. I wonder about the strain on the...

    V100S Pricing

On my V100 I find that the stock shield worked the best in the mid position. I got a used Biondi from a guy that is a few inches taller. It is also better in the mid position. I am guessing they are both better at this position is because the space at the bottom of the shield is the largest...

Oil grade change post Fuel Kit install

O'Reilly's stocks 10-60 Castrol. No need to sweat finding exotic brands. Castrol is the factory's specified oil. No need to over think it. I even ran it in my T120 Triumph when I had it. Another thread. If it is good for MG it should be even better for the Triumph. Nothing fancy in that motor. kk

Journalist write up on the New Stelvio

My V100 was horribly stiff when I first got it. It has gotten a lot better after 1,000 miles. Because of winter I haven't to ride it as much as I would have liked. I expect it will get even better as a few more miles are added. Part of it is that I am only 160 lbs soaking wet. give it some time...

Service campaign: V100 clutch master cylinder seals

I had my V100 in for it's first service yesterday. I showed this post to the service manager while I was waiting. He hadn't heard about it. The clutch did feel a bit different when I left. He didn't say anything about it though. Idle speed a was a bit higher so I guess they may have done an...

    Grip change

I wanted a larger diameter. I didn't care about the heated grips, I have heated gloves. The heated factory grips are not really very hot, just warm.

    Grip change

I haven't changed mine but I put Grip Puppies on it. I wasn't concerned with vibration I just like larger diameter grips. Makes the throttle easier to modulate for one thing. kk

    V100 saddlebags note and warning!

I am wondering if those who have lost a bag had the pillion seat securely fastened? It is what locks the bags in place. kk

Bad Luck with Having 5 Digit Security Code Reset by Carmo

In 2019 I bought kind of a used Audace. Another screwed up dealer issue. I got only one key and no manual. I had a spare key made which didn't work. Then I downloaded a manual and learned a whole lot. I lucked out in that the security code was the last digits of the VIN. As far as a second key I...
