    Rear Cast Wheel Dust Cap?

Thanks man...I got it though. Bought 7/8" equipment plugs from Amazon...perfect fit. Look just like the cap found on the laced wheel.

    Rear Cast Wheel Dust Cap?

Just got a new set of cast wheels for my 2013 Stelvio. Does anyone know if there is a dust cap for the center of the rear wheel? The cap from my laced wheel is too large to fit. The parts diagram I found doesn't show a cap for the cast wheel...only the laced. Thanks, Russ

Anyone ever flush out the rear drive?

4 or 5 refills easily? 1 Quart is only 946 cc's...I hear you though...only put the recommended oil in there...LOL Just was kind of weird though. The bike only has 3000 miles on it and looks like it's never been ridden...PLUS, the previous owner said it was already serviced (of course I NEVER...

Anyone ever flush out the rear drive?

Just wondered if any of you have ever flushed out the rear drive with kerosene or anything. Reason I ask is because I drained mine until it stopped dripping (while hot)...even leaned the bike in both directions to make sure it was empty before filling with new gear oil. After filling it and...

Everything you ever wanted to know about the 1200 8V engine tappet failure but were afraid to ask.

Yeah...my post number 50 was actually sent before I had a chance to read yours. It's all good. Road the bike home and just changed the oil and filter today. Used Castrol 10w-60...says it's for BMW M series...and a 551 Hiflo filter. Doing the CARC and gearbox tomorrow. Thanks!

    Yep...done that already.

New to me Stelvio Tire Question

Yeah...I guess it would just throw the speedo off a bit. The way this thing runs on the highway, I doubt RPM's are going to be an issue. Heck, it just starts to smooth out at around 4500...and in top gear that's around 80 mph...LOL.

New to me Stelvio Tire Question

Unfortunately, all of the 150/70-17's I've been finding have the same circumference as the Heidenau K60 Scouts...1939. Makes sense I guess considering the fact that you'd probably have speedo error if they were different.

New to me Stelvio Tire Question

Hey guys, Just picked up a 2013 Stelvio yesterday that has 3000 miles on it. Like showroom condition. Road it home last night about 100 miles and love it. Problem is...it's a bit higher than I thought. I've owned two Vstrom 650's, one Vstrom 1000, and an R1200GS. They all have a higher seat...

Everything you ever wanted to know about the 1200 8V engine tappet failure but were afraid to ask.

This just in... Turns out that what I didn't know, because I'm not sure it's totally clear in this thread...is that, the VIN is NOT the engine number. I'm sure most of you guys knew this, but I didn't. The ENGINE number of the bike I am interested in is AC013488. Fairly well beyond the...

Everything you ever wanted to know about the 1200 8V engine tappet failure but were afraid to ask.

Would it help if I said the VIN was DM112514 ? Wouldn't the "D" clearly (on a cloudy day) indicate the rollers?

Yeah...I don't think the guy would take kindly to me removing the valve covers...LOL. How can you find the build date?

Everything you ever wanted to know about the 1200 8V engine tappet failure but were afraid to ask.

Hey guys, Was wondering if you could help me out. I'm looking to buy a used, low mileage 2013 Stelvio. The last 5 digits of the VIN are 12514. The information posted below was copied from the OP. I just assumed that the bike I'm looking at would have the roller tappets, but according to the...
