I think that I do.
I bought Guzzi because I wanted idiosyncrasies, character (which I class as doing some things very well and other things, well, not so well) this creates that classical 'love/hate' relationship which I crave.
Other brands seem to constantly strive upwards, bigger, better...
How much trouble it could cause?
The above quote is 'click bait' and I am kicking myself for not jumping on it sooner.
Tyres are part of the suspension as in everything suspended from the vehicle is in concert with everything else.
So generalisation is used and a range of answers could be...
Hey Scotty,
When I said "capture the cruiser market" I should have said " capture its own cruiser market. "
Cruisers in my eyes are ridden at speeds low enough so the rider can observe without destination and typically swap outright speed for other sensations like a strong pulsed vibration, a...
Although my bike is not a 4 valve it did present a problem a lot like the original post presents.
Fix was to simply retorque the studs since they were way under spec.
You hit the nail on the head this is a perfect rider only first bike.
Moderate, usable power, easy to ride and easy to park.
Wonderful choice.
I was looking to buy one years ago but since I do a lot of two up riding I decided against it.
Had the exact same issue with 2 front Pirelli Angel GT2s.
Personal opinion is that these tyres combined with a high torque engine and getting on the power early when steering carves out the tread just off centre.
I work in a tool repair shop and the blue goo is outstandingly good.
It withstands butane, gasoline and diesel environments with ease and in many cases acts as a mild form of thread lock which in turn prevents leakage also.
Auto pilot is a constant problem solving system but if you are not part of the problem, constantly, then there is no way to solve it.
Especially if the handover reaction time is 1 second.
If the AI is the default setting when the vehicle is operating and it fails in use then it's the AI's fault but if it's driver selected then the driver will have to prove its not fit for use before claiming fault.
Major part of the problem here is looks.
The most striking feature of any Guzzi is the visual impact of seeing those heads unobstructed and caging them in ruins that.
Fixes the practical side but usually ruins the aesthetics.
One has to get over the change in appearance when going with bar...
I agree with Tod here, frame mounted bars that have distance between impact point and what they are supposed to protect allow the forces to be absorbed by deflection and distortion of the material they are made from.
Anything engine mounted is way too close to be in any way effective, ends up...
Got to agree with Tod here, larger diameter headers were always the 'go to' for power on Guzzi, flow reversion being one of the down sides in doing so with the use of cones between the port exit and the header flange stopping back flow.
Had an audiologist visit our bike club the other day and went through the science of hearing and how ANY noise above wind roar can destroy your hearing.
A lot our riders wear medical grade ear plugs now to kill the white noise that can ruin your hearing in those frequencies.
So, yeah I am funny...
Ask away if you have any questions!
Compulsory for a Bellagio is a windage plate and a starter motor solenoid.
Have you had your swing arm and steering bearings greased yet?
