V7 III Rear Grab Bar & Other Accessories

Bought the grab rail for my stone but can't find the part # for the bolt and nut securing it onto the frame tab. The parts diagrams for the Milano and Special don't label them.

V7 III - brutal pinging during hot weather

Might as well just re-bore it to 820 cc at that point haha. I get minor pinging sometimes, but only on stale gas and a warm day. It hasn't gotten worse so I'm not too concerned about it. ~5000 mi on the bike for reference

    So what touches down first?

V7 III - Haven't touched down on the kickstand side, but I have wore down my right side foot peg feelers leaning aggressively. My tires have not even seen the edge. If anything, it's confidence inspiring knowing that you don't have to fear going past the limit on a right turn. On a left turn...

Pushing the forks up. How far did you go?

Todd set it at 10 mm but I haven't tried 20 mm. I'm on stock suspension, 150-155 lbs, and there's a point at 20-30 mph neutral throttle where the bike feels at one with my body and just wants to attack any corner. It's kind of inconsistent though so I'm hoping I can get some more consistency...

    V7iii General Chat-Mods Thread

They are both the same. It's the angles. Part # is AMV7IIIVN by the way. The MK1 design had a stainless steel plate logo but I think they changed it to yellow laser etched within the past year and also made it shorter. It's shorter than the stock pipes but an inch longer than the Agostini Shorts.

I love the green stripes on your Milano. Where'd you get your decals? Or did you draft them yourself? Here are some of my mods: Dart Piranha Limited Edition Metallic Black Fly screen Pathfinder Classic Style Black LED Headlights - Dropped position by 1.5 inches to be centered with the tank...

V7 III Loose Valve Cover Bolts

Thanks for the tips. I cleaned up the valve covers, replaced the rubbers, replaced the bolts, and scored/hashmarked the underside of the bolts so that they would have more grip on the rubber under engine vibration. Went for a 100 mile ride today under heavy acceleration and it looks like it did...

V7 III Loose Valve Cover Bolts

Hey guys, my right side valve cover bolts keeps loosening up from the engine vibrations. One time it got so bad that the bike vomited oil from the bottom of the valve cover gasket and all over my right leg. I had to walk it two miles off the freeway. What can I do to fix this? Permeate the...
