    2012 V7R shifting issues

I did engine, transmission, gear, oil change less than 100 miles ago. I use all synthetic, either Agip or Motul. I read it is common for V7 before they made some improvements in V7 II. This is one of the thread I have been reading. I have same issue on my 2012 V7...

    2012 V7R shifting issues

I did the research and basically learning that there isn't a shifting issue, I have to adjust to the bike by slipping (release slightly) the clutch or preload the shifter before the clutching when the box is cold. Pre down shift before coming to a stop. My current problem is getting from 1st...

    oil leaking after oil change

I drained out about 3-4 oz of oil and got the oil down to the low mark after a 20 min ride. It was over filled, and I tighten the return line 1/3 turn, it was easy to initially turn, but at 1/3 turn it was pretty tight. I used a stubby wrench only maybe 4" long, so it must have been pretty...

    oil leaking after oil change

initially it looks over filled, but I am checking with the engine cold. I will need to go for a ride. However, why does the engine need to be warm anyway? I don't think that oil expands. Maybe they want a thin coat of oil everywhere? Manual say to warm the engine up 10mins of riding, then...

2012 v7r cannot idle after vale adjustments

I did valve adjustments, to 0.15/0.20 mm intake/exhaust. Previously all valves were tight, intakes were 0.10 and exhausts was between 0.10 - 0.15. After the adjustment, the cold start was fine, but after 1-2 mins of the rpm drops to about 800-900 RPM and the bike dies. I need to do TB...

    Throttle body sync?

I have a 2012 v7 racer but just trying to learn, and I read in threads to follow the instructions from brava1100 manual. so basically MGs are setup to read mixture from the LH cylinder, and the RH cylinder must match to this "master". Would this be correct understanding? Also if at idle the...
