    V85TT issues and Loose Bits

I too have lost one, replaced using Loctite too.

    V85TT issues and Loose Bits

Yes, Loctite is good!. I also lost 2 front bolts before 900 mole service. I put stainless Hex head bolts on with loctite. I beleive they were checked during the recall for bevel drive leak issue (which I didn't actually have) and I think something within the assembly was changed (?) but I'm not...

    V85 TT Info

I got 320 miles with first 3 tank full running in.

    V85TT issues and Loose Bits

Keep a weather eye on your side stand securing nut, I lost mine at 2000 miles. It's M10 FINE pitch so not "off the shelf" to replace (common metric fasteners are course pitch, not fine pitch).

    V85TT issues and Loose Bits

Also worth checking your side stand securing nut is tight. I lost mine. Which is not really a problem, but bear in mind it's M10 FINE pitch, not course pitch, so a replacement is not readily handy !.

    V85TT issues and Loose Bits

Left hand hand guard bolt came loose on mine after a week.

    V85TT issues and Loose Bits

You are not alone! I too, lost the front two bolts before even the first service. Apparently part of the first recall was to check the torque on the actual sump securing bolts and to reverse the orientation of the spacers for the sump guard, as well as make sure the bolts wee tight. (I've not...

V85TT - spoked wheels with tubes but tubeless Tyres !

Can I ask, how many times do you get punctures? I've not had one in the last 14 years and 48,000 miles on a Transalp (has tubes) on the road (no off road riding). None in 7 years on an ER5 on road (can't remember mileage), 1 front puncture on a Honda Dominator in 8 years, 1 puncture in a week...
