Matris FKE spring kit, what oil to use?

My mistake, the oil level measurement was taken with the part A flow regulator and the spring in. I have corrected my post above. @Vagrant I believe the springs that come with this kit are supposed to be stiffer than the stock springs. Before buying the kit, I was deciding on the kit with or...

Matris FKE spring kit, what oil to use?

Just an update for those who is looking for the info. The FM108KE kit I have comes with the springs, but no oil. You would just remove the fork tubes, remove the springs and spacers, and then dump the oil out. The recommended oil weight and level are already in the pictures of post #8 above...

    OC Moto SoCal - Closed

I was wondering why Jim sent an email on Nov 14, 2023 sending Triumph customers to Riverside County Triumph. Bought my 2019 V7III at OCM, Jim and everyone there were nice to work with.

U.S. spec vs. European taillight and indicators

It looks like only the V7 850 Special Edition (NFTA) comes with LED turn signals. According to your picture, the LED turn signals look different from the ones for V7 III (non-NFTA). I then checked the parts list and found, V7 III OEM LED signals have part number 2D000438 and 2D000439 (my...

Identify my 2018 V7 lll Milano

Milano has aluminum (or metal) fenders. Looks like yours is a Milano except that it has a red tank and Moto Guzzi logo stickers on the tank instead of the badges. I would agree with Todd that someone painted the tank red. Stock V7 III's red paint is matte, not glossy.

2019 V7 Stone LED Headlight Issues

I have a Night Pack also, but haven't ridden after dark. I read this complain a couple of times, over the internet discussion forums, but forgot where. See this video

Removal of luggage rack - replacement bolts for suspension

Just google the year and the model of the bike + parts list (example: 2010 moto guzzi v7 parts list) and you should be able to find the parts diagram. It looks like the bolt you need is genuine Guzzi part number 2B002195, which fits V7 from 2008 ~ 2020. I am sure you can probably find one that...

    New V7 Guzzi Owner

Keep using the OEM air filter, until you update the ECU with SAS block, charcoal canister remove, and install after market mufflers. Todd @ Guzzitech here can also provide you a map for the stock bike with none of the updates above.

V7iii what parts are polished/ chromed?

If yours came with the black plastic injector covers and want to replace them with the factory brushed aluminum ones, let me know. https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-iii-oem-aluminum-silver-color-injector-cover-set-us-80.22329/

    V9 Backfire

I know you have checked most of the things, but I would check two more things. 1. Oil in the airbox. 2. I don't know how tight the Agostini mufflers are at the header connection. I have Zard Zuma and they are a bit loose, so I put on some high temp. RTV.

V7 III - Low Fuel Light Won't Go Out

Looks like the sensor is around US$100!!! I wonder how you would test it. Probably using a voltmeter and check the resistance of the connector leads with the sensor dipping in fluid at various level?

    Evap removal from V7III

    GTM ECU V7 & V9 Flash Tool

Mayakovski is correct, you need the dealer's software tool to clear the wrench icon. What is the mileage on your V7 III S? If you are the first owner, is this the first time you saw the wrench icon? Off topic: Was the final drive leaking thus for the Pro Italia to replace the final drive gasket?

Dash lights- 932 mile AND gear shift light RPM and RPM sweet spot.

On my V7 III, the maintenance reminder spanner did not show up even after 1,000 miles. The manual says that the reminder will show up on the dash, "except the first service". So, check your manual (I have search online, but could not find one readily available). I did mention this to the...

    New V7 Centenarrio

There should not be anything that you need to look for except the usual oil, fuel, tire pressure, and lights check. REC 90 is not available in a few states, but I don't recall hearing issues with using the ethanol blended fuel for newer bikes with all metal fuel filter. I would keep the bike...

    V7 Brake Upgrades

Found a set of EBC HH (for the Monster 796 front brake) in the parts bin, so replaced the OEM ones and what a difference! Like Todd and vagrant have said, replacing the pads for the more aggressive ones should be the first step.

    V7 Brake Upgrades

Just installed the Brembo RCS 15 master cylinder, the OEM line adapter, and the reservoir kit. https://gtmotocycles.com/collections/all-products/products/rcs-radial-frntbrkmstr I have not not replaced the pads, so did not notice the improvement of the braking power. What I did notice is much...

Non Spec Crash Bars (V7 III on a V7 Classic)

Yes, factory service manual says 50 Nm, so I would believe that 36 or 37 ft-lb should do.
