First impressions from a new owner.

Thanks. I still hadn't pulled out the owners manual to refresh myself on this, I'm good to go now👍 seems like it's that way on most other bikes too(other than using the actual starter button)

First impressions from a new owner.

I need to bite the bullet and buy the tall wind screen so I can ride more comfortably in the cold weather. I have the factory bracket like yours but it has the shorty screen on it

    Test rode a BMW R18 B today

I love my R18. I'm on my second one. I bought a first edition the first year and put about 3 thousand miles on it and sold it to get the r18 transcontinental which is the big bagger fairing edition but ended up changing my mind and bought another base model. It had some things on it my first one...

Interesting fairing and backrest for eldorado

Not mine, just saw it on ebay. The fairing and backrest are definitely not for my taste but I bet their both pretty effective.

    Eldorado-2016 only?

When I was looking to buy a new one a couple years ago the dealers where saying they could get a 2020 eldorado from the US warehouse. I ended up finding a deal on a 2016 though

How To Recover The 5 Digit Security Code

The only part that spooked me is when you have to take the key out and insert the new one to be coded. I wasn't sure what was going to happen when I had to turn the dash off, but fortunately it booted up and picked right back up where it left off

How To Recover The 5 Digit Security Code

Finally getting enough time to get back to checking the site and post. Just to follow up, I was able to successfully program my new key from the dealer with no issues. I certainly feel very fortunate I didn't have to send my dash off to be reworked. As Scott mentioned earlier, I think he may be...

Just skimmed over this thread. I will get back to it and post hopefully this weekend. I got hella busy this past couple weeks with work and life lol

    Chromed or polished?

So then the bluing can be polished out of chrome to a certain extent. Good to know👍🏻 I'm tempted to try it. I guess the best option would be to remove the pipe when doing it

    Chromed or polished?

I have not thought about ceramic but if the results look good I'm not opposed to it. I assume with ceramic there will be no blueing?

    Chromed or polished?

Was that on the chromed pipes?
