I purchased the bike 4 years ago, not so happy from the maintenance done by the previous owner. Step by step learning and refreshing everything and trusting more and more to it.
Hello, I used this for spline joint(drive shaft):
and regular(red, blue, green) or marine grade no lithium grease for bearings. The swing arm bearings and the needle bearings from the "dog bone" do not have full 360 degree rotation, they have 10-15 degrees sectional movement.
No, I did not, it was in the middle of this summer. I cleaned very well with diesel and wool rug, polished and clean the rust from the rollers same way with diesel, satisfied to the end of season. Now I have new roller bearings and needle bearings as well. Needle bearings I polished one by one...
I did that one service on my NORGE as well, first time I supported the engine disassembled the right plate with bungee cord, but second time removing the right plate, bike was on side kick and did it IN front of a welding shop. I broke the the "eye" for beak pedal. inside the plate is the brake...
Thank you Bill, I'll dig more to find the reason, still smelling. Doubts about air breathing from timing chain camera or oil pan.
Thinking to replace all breather pipes going out of the breather box.

Somewhere under the need of the RHS front tank section.
During riding is OK.
I did changed the air...
Hello, yes it is a thread mill frame. I got two frames out of one thread mill. Have been very enthusiastic to make a platform/dolly,
very solid when is on four wheel on brake. Did not move moving at all when I put the bike on top of it.
Hi guys, I had a problem with balancing the motorcycle over the center stand. Watched videos - done perfect now.
One very important condition for me: "Hard boots", no snickers no sporty shoos.
Enthusiastically I did a platform for easy moving the bike:
