There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. The battery in my Roamer is nearly 8 years old and still going strong, it's always been on a tender but I sometimes leave it off for a day or two to make sure it's still up to the job.
I was thinking of buying a Triumph Bonneville then I found out they had moved production to Thailand, that put me right off the idea as I wanted a British bike like my T100 R Daytona had been. So I don't think I would have bought a none Italian Guzzi.
Having said that I have just bought a...
Another vote for the mushroom plug here, I've used them on cars but not had a need on a bike yet. One car I did 20,000 miles with one in the rear tyre with no problems.

I've just had this problem with one of the brakes on my car, the piston was seized in the caliper I would check that first.
Edit. Ignore that I've just read your post again and you say everything works fine now.
If you make a donation to help fund the site you can then get a manual from the downloads section.
Someone else will be along soon to answer your other questions.

I did my Roamer without too much drama but I've lost count of the times when working on various vehicles I've thought whoever designed this should be made to work on the bloody thing.
I have used an old belt in the past, if you have enough room thread the end through the buckle put it round the filter and pull back against the buckle.
