    V7 Classic to Cafe Conversion

I've pretty much done the conversion except the mufflers and exhaust hangers/foot pegs. I did not use the stock cafe bars -- it wasn't even out yet -- but I have a set of Laverda Jotta replica bars, which are a little lower than the stock cafe bars, and the cables did not need any shortening or...

    2010 v7c in red ?

I saw a red one in what I believed to be Billy Joel's stable on the Cafe Racer television program. I assumed he had it painted, but maybe not...

    V7 Cafe handling woes

I've never had an issues with the front end on mine either. The back end has been a little squirrely at times, but I'm pretty sure it's the lazertech.

BREVA V7 CLASSIC TIMING COVER OIL SEAL

My V7C has sprung a leak behind the cover as well. About a month ago I took it in for a leak from the sensor on the left side of the bike, but now it's leaking from behind the alternator cover and still leaking in the old spot -- only when the oil is hot and thin. I'm thinking the dealer...

    ethanol damages engine?

Max, I use 10% everyday. It's the only thing I can get where I live. Use the highest octane you can and you'll be just fine, per my dealer. It will ping a little bit on hotter days, but that's the extent of it. Long term effects are still undetermined, I would assume, but there's nothing you can...

    "one piece" handlebar clamp

It's painted an on the bike now. Looks pretty good. I used a black appliance epoxy for it's durability. Quick and easy. My only wish is that it wasn't so shiny. My black handlebars are almost a flat black with just a light sheen to it, so it's not too out of place. I haven't gotten the logo...

    "one piece" handlebar clamp

No problem. Glad I could be of assistance. Damnit, $50?! Oh well. At least I can feel good about supporting my local dealer(?). I hope to sand it down and shoot it this weekend. I'll post some pics when it's all done, for sure.

v7 classic rim / tyre sizes

I really, really like the look of that Corsa V7 with those wheels. Hard to pass up spokes, though. I guess the grass is always greener. Those without spokes, want them. I'm think of PC'ing my rims black over the winter. However, re-lacing them seems like a daunting task for a novice.

    "one piece" handlebar clamp

Got this clamp in. A) it cost to damn much -- $87! I had blindly ordered it thinking it couldn't be more than $30; B ) I'm going to have to paint it black, it doesn't look good painted silver on the bike; C) it doesn't come with the plate in the center with the logo on it. What crap  ...

    "one piece" handlebar clamp

I have just ordered this part from the Breva for my V7C. If anyone is even interested, I can report back if it fits. Fingers crossed. They didn't have a Breva at my dealer for me to check.

    V7C Crossover Pipe

I never removed anything to get mine on. Just loosened one side enough to swing it out a few inches.
