All is quiet on the Stelvio front…

It has been quiet because we’ve been out riding 😉. Here’s some photographic evidence:

    Stelvio PC-V/AutoTune install

I was finally able to get some time to install the PCV/AT. The bike runs much better in conjunction with Todd's fuel map! I created instructions on how I installed the set-up using some of Todd's language/instructions and some of my own.

    Stelvio tire recommendations

Here are some pics of the Dunlop Trailmax Missions. I can confirm they work well on and off-road.

    Handguards

Has anyone replaced their handguards? It appears that Barkbusters are no longer offered for the Stelvio, and I have not found an equivalent replacement. Is there a universal set that might work well? TIA.

    Awesome thank you!

Charcoal Canister Removal - Detailed with Pictures

Thank you Scott for the helpful, detailed guide! I performed the surgery this weekend. Now I just need to install Todd's map.

    Stelvio tire recommendations

I added Dunlop Trailmax Mission tires to my bike. The front tire I was able to get on myself, but the rear tire was another story. After some blood, sweat, and tears (and newly invented curse words) I admitted defeat and took it to a shop to have it mounted on the rim. I do like how they look...

Throttle tube sluggish to return to idle

Thanks for the info. I'm installing Oxfords on mine pretty soon. Any additional tips for the removal of the OEM grips and installation of the Oxfords? Did you get the adventure-style grips?

    Downhill Stall

Yes, tracking he has a fix. I was attempting to imply there’s some considerable cost-to-entry to fix the simple problems. But I do see the long-term advantage to acquire these tools, so I’m game. I’ve already ordered the Carbmate (back ordered), but now if we could only fix these global...

    Downhill Stall

Trust me, the gems are not flying over my head. I appreciate every nugget shared. I did my best to research the problem with this community and others before posting, and that's why I was hoping the stepper cleanout would have fixed the problem but alas, I was wrong. Separately, I took full...

Yes poor choice of words. I should have said “definitely.” Thanks for all the advice so far!

    Downhill Stall

So I took it to the dealer yesterday where it turned out there was an update available for the ECU, and he reset the TPS. I tested out the bike this morning under the same conditions to where it usually stalls, but it did not. It appeared the ‘hunting’ behavior at low idle was gone too...

Thank you. Is valve lash the same concept as checking the valve clearances?

Ok thanks. Is there a ‘best practice’ to cleaning out the TBs?

Thanks. This was the first thing I did to no effect.

    Downhill Stall

Love my new-to-me 2015 Stelvio but I have a persistent issue where she likes to stall heading downhill (minimal grade) when I pull the clutch in to come to a stop. I would say this occurs when I pull in the clutch and coast 20+ feet from the stopping point. The RPMs naturally drop but then the...

Stelvio REGISTRY & Pics thread -- ADD YOUR BIKE

Hello everyone! Picked up a nice 2015 just shy over 6K on the odometer. I have been looking at adventure bikes for the past several years, with the Stelvio always on the list despite their rarity (i.e. compared to BMW GS or Japanese peers). I've already replaced the dreaded factory fog lights...
