Great! thank you. For reference, I can't remember the exact mileage I have, but it's about 17K and the disc measures 6.1 mm. Again, not that I needed it, but I'll never have that opportunity again. Who knows, maybe the relining will get rid of that cold howl that everybody is complaining about...

    Friction disc OEM specs

Sean from RTL is in the process of replacing the main oil seal on my Stelvio. My bike suffers from the oil seal leak caused by the bolts around the housing being too long. And just because the opportunity is there, Sean plans to have the friction plate relined. Trouble is the original disc...

    Ecuador ride anyone?

We are a group of three friends that have decided to go on an Equatorian Motorcycle vacation. We are seriously considering the 10 Best Days in Ecuador Tour ride from Freedom Bike Rental. This is an all inclusive dual purpose ride with bike, hotels, meals and a guide. The more practical time for...

    Stelvio Dead - Troubleshooting Help

In getting back to you: The Stelvio has a dedicated alarm harness located under the let side of the tank. (not visible with the tank plastic cover on.)There is a “dummy plug” inserted when you don’t have the alarm module. But, you said the fuel pump was working so I think you’re in the clear...

How did you mount your aux lights?

I like the factory look of the 2nd generation Stelvio fog lights location. I looked for a way to install (excluding welding) my lights in the same manner. I used the PIAA 74000 light brackets. I did have to extend the “L” bracket for housing clearance. I’m pretty happy with the result. However...

    Gooseman

I met Jon Gerloff when he married my wife's best friend back in the early '90s. While not a hardcore motorcycle fan or an “iron-butt” rider, he bought a brand new Guzzi from the Marina Del Ray dealer in 1998. Tried many a time to get him to the Hardrock Cafe or the Malibu National rally but...
