    V85TT Suspension Thread

I have a Shock Factory M-Shock on the rear of my bike and it's a definite improvement. The damping adjustment is easy to reach from the seat and you can dial in the ride quality you want while sat at the lights. They're built to order to your weight and spec.

8V High Mileage / Good News Stories

My Guzzi 1200 Sport went about 18 months ago, replaced with a BMW R1200S, but my last big ride on it was to Croatia (but we started in Spain :) ) with my wife and daughter. We loved it all, particularly the ride down the Adriatic coast. Definitely on the return visit list.

…to Wales from Italy [mostly photographs]

Great photo's Daniel. :) There is a lot of pride in the town for their "Royal" title - Wootton Bassett has only very recently become "Royal Wootton Bassett". Repatriations of fallen troops had taken place through the Wiltshire town since 2007. A few locals always stopped and paid their...

    newbie question

I'm 5'10" with 31" inside leg and never had a problem flat footing my Griso. Never felt tall and never actually gave seat height a second thought.

    Guzzi rear rack fitting confusion?

I fitted one to my 1200 Sport a few weeks back, everything lined up and fitted perfectly. As Rafael said, the top picture is not too clear, but from the next photo, it looks as if you've been supplied with all the mounting hardwear that came with mine - the 4 fixing bolts with washers (2 long, 2...

8V High Mileage / Good News Stories

Please keep them coming, it would be great to get this thread as long as some of the tales of woe. I often feel that the nature of bike forums can often make all of them seem unreliable nails with break downs every other week. I suspect mainly because many owners only arrive at forums when they...

8V High Mileage / Good News Stories

Hi Steve, yes back to a Guzzi. The Multistrada was great to ride, just not very far. Found that anything over 150 miles in one hit would give me bad back pain for a fortnight. Couldn't bring myself to buy another BMW, and didn't know what to buy, but saw a low miles 1200 Sport with luggage at a...

8V High Mileage / Good News Stories

I'm still fairly new to the forum and after selling my 8V Griso and trying a Ducati Multistrada, I'm now back on a 1200 Sport 8V. It's my third Guzzi, the first V11 Sport ending up a bit of a disaster when the engine let go big style (fortunately under warranty). Human error as it turned out, as...

the chore of flogging 525 poneys worth 236k$ up the Stelvio

Re: the chore of flogging 525 poneys worth 236k$ up the Stel I did the Stelvio a couple of years back on my Megamoto, got an early start with little traffic, awesome run on exactly the right bike for the job. Easy, upright riding postion, plenty of low down torque to punch out of the corners...

    2012 SE

That's the thing about concept bikes, they don't have to production ready, but to provoke thought, ideas and generate interest / feedback. I looked at it in those terms, and whilst there are details I wouldn't put on a bike of my own or ever make production, as a visual concept of something that...

    2012 SE

I saw the bike in Milan, it is silver / black. The sticker on the rear fender is an "Anniversary" sticker. Sorry, I didn't take any photo's as to be honest it just didn't look that special in the flesh, the matt finish just made it look a bit flat. I much prefer my Tenni green SE.

    V7 Racer

I definitely prefer the painted tank on the concept bike at the Milan Show than the chromed plastic which just looks a bit false to me.

    Stucchi Griso Fairing

Haven't seen anyone post these so apologies if I've missed it, but shown at the Milan Bike Show. Talking to the Stucchi staff on the stand the plan is to make a limited run of the fairing in aluminium, before going to fibreglass. Price tba but they thought around 1,000 Euros - Guzzi...

Not sure how much protection they'd offer but have these on my SE (sorry best pic I have), made by a guy who offered them for sale on the AdvRider forum. Look nice though, :D

    Terblanche onward...

That about sums it up for me. I think Guzzi have had a lucky escape, and they still have Galluzi on board. As someone who lives just six miles from the new Norton factory though, it not good news that PT has arrived there.
