Disabling the Immobilizer on '07 Norge?

I haven't been able to get my Norge running this season. I seem to have a number of errors around the immobilizer. Is there a way I can disconnect the immobilizer to allow the bike to run? This problem is ruining my riding time.

How to question on Resetting the Norge Dash?

I pulled the cover and everything looked great. Metered the earth point and its fine. I can feel the starter kick when starter is pushed. Battery and cables all look great. What are these starter relay mods for exactly?

How to question on Resetting the Norge Dash?

Its not low battery, I'm using my car battery for the jump. Not the dreaded ground wiring or relay. Turn it on, dash lights up, I hear the full pump. Hit the starter and click is all I hear. Might be a great engine, but man, its a bitch to keep running.

How to question on Resetting the Norge Dash?

Anyone know the magic to clear the errors in the Norge dash? I assumed it was Delete errors from memory, but when I try to delete them it does not do the trick. I have been following this algorithm: 1) Go to the diagnostic section via 28315 code 2) Go to the Dashboard to see errors: - -...

    2011 Norge side stand

I modified my Norge side stand two years ago. I could not find any aftermarket at the time, but I understand there might be one floating around in Europe. That said modification was easy. I made a cut at the last bend and welded on a longer stem. It works quite well and has a proper lean.

    Guzzi dealer/service in Atlantic Canada?

I imported my Norge from the US. It wasn't really that bad, the hardest problem was I had to stripe the gas tank in the Canadian Tire parking lot and at the border so they could see the VIN. Seacoast? Haven't heard of this place, but its time for a day trip. afd...

    Norge Tupperwareand Tabs, helpful info:

Whatever you do, don't use plastifix. I spent days last year repairing my Norge fairing tabs and cracks, but by the end of the season most of the tabs had broken again. In some cases, they completely disintegrated. So now I'm going back to building them out of JB weld. Not the best answer, but...

    Air cooled engines

True and True. But, when Piaggo finally fixes the dealership and support models I will no longer need to be "the" mechanic and I will be able to change my signature. Until then, I will demand reciprocity! :D So Piaggo needs to have a sense of humor because I certainly needed one with my...
