    Is 7 years too long?

My original battery has lasted 7 years and is still going strong. But to be on the safe side, I`ve opted to buy a replacement. It`s always been connected to a trickle charger when not in use and has never let me down. But, and it`s a big BUT! How much longer could i have expected it to perform...

    F****d bearings

Thought I would dismantle the swingarm and grease the bearings. As its laid up for winter and I have a cheapo for commuting, the mileage has come to a standstill and now only gets used for days out and road trips. Fuck me, I've seen more grease in a politicians handshake. 22,000 miles and the...

    Wet, very wet, and cloudbursts.

I took a run out yesterday, up towards Suffolk/Norfolk. Bloody hellfire, it rained some, and then some more. I expected to cover the run a little slower than the norm, but spending all day, and I mean ALL DAY in the pissing rain was not much fun  Found a cracking pub in a little village...

    Acerbis Handguards

Who can tell me if the Acerbis Dual Road Handguards are a straight forward fit for the 1100 Griso? I fancy putting a pair on mine to keep the wind chill off my digits. :woohoo: There was an old post from 3 years ago but didn`t want to resurrect that old one, plus there was no explanation as to...

    Temperature sensitivety

Over the last couple of years I`ve noticed that the 1100 Griso seems to run smoother, with less popping on the overrun when the temp is at 18 deg C than it does at 20 deg C. When the ambient temp is 15 or lower, it runs real well. I haven`t got around to installing the new map so was wondering...

    Power commander?

I`ve just had a look on the Dynojet webshite and they list a power comander V for the 1100 Griso, is this right, true? I know I`ve missed out on a few things but I wasn`t aware they had developed software for the Griso. Has anyone used this dynojet stuff yet on a 1100? I was under the impression...

Can`t believe my poxy luck. 2 years after changing the dreaded internal petrol pump pipe, the f******g thing has gone again! As luck would have it, it happened right outside the front door as I got home. Wondering why it cut out as it never has before, tried the starter, just spun up without...

    Griso Mirrors

For the last 3 years I`ve been twisting my mirrors in to give me more clearance to get the bike thro` a narrow doorway into my outhouse. Finally they cried "ENOUGH". So, called the local dealer to order a pair of genu..whine guzzi replacements. F*** me ragged with a pineapple! Over £50 a piece...

    Griso/Breva drive shaft joints.

Maybe a dumbass question, but are the drive shaft joints "sealed for life" or is there some way of greasing them without going thro` the whole process of removing the swing arm assembly. If they are sealed for life, whats the life expectancy of a couple of joints that don`t get greased?
