I have this problem when I ride in to work. Bad enough that both hands go to sleep. My solution so far is to do a mini workout to get the blood flowing in my body better. Carpal problems run in my family. On my ride home my hands rarely get numb. For next season i think I might look into...
If you're considering a vstrom take a look at the stelvioNTX. Big tank , way more room for legs and some good hard luggage options. Not as as good looking as the griso but neither is that vstrom.
Okay everything came off with no drama. Just need to bring in wheels for tire change.
When reinstalling front wheel is there a specific order to do things. Like reattach calipers, axle, tighten pinch bolts tighten axle nut?
I was able to remove rear tire without removing exhaust, but it would...
I just received one of these stands. Good thing someone posted the pdf of the installation. Once the bobbins are in, is there any reason to remove them? Unless selling or do they get in the way? Also one post mentioned they do not raise the bike high enough. I want to remove my rear wheel...
maybe it was some leftover winter blend gas. My car seems to be sensitive to this. Also maybe check the tightness of the headers, mine loosened up between 4-8k. I put the O2 sensor dudad to cure my lower rpm weirdness.
My previous bike was a M109r sometimes compared to the vrod. Awesome engine and as long as i stayed on open roads or highways a perfect fit. But he 700+lbs and that fat 250 wheel in back made handling a bit of a bear on smaller roads. The Griso is more of an all rounder compared to a muscle...
The Bellagio was the reason I started looking at Guzzis again. Found out that they didn't sell them in the US, The V7 caught my interest than saw the Griso 8v which I ended up getting. The Bellagio would have fit the bill when I was looking for a lighter more nimble cruiser like bike after...
I got them here http://japan.webike.net/products/1958722.html
I think about $90 shipped .
I guess I got to look for that part opposite the spark plug caps.
Went to use the x4k today and it looks like I would have to use part of the stock wires. Is there a place that I can get the stock connection piece to fit with the new cable. Or at least the name of the clip? The new NGK looks to have a different core so i cannot fold over the wires and use...
Took a little trip into Ontario over the weekend. On the way in kept hearing exhaust popping when backing off on the throttle. Seemed quite a bit louder too. When i got to the hotel I found that the bolts holding the exhaust to the right side cylinder had come a bit loose. Tightened the best...
Same thing happened to mine. I had mine installed at the dealer. Hopefully your brake assembly was not bent in the spill. That part costs around $150. Luckily the dealer was kind enough to pull one off one of the showroom Griso s so i did not have to wait another week.
Yeah if the pump is defective it will overflow like you describe. Happened once at a ratty gas station. So I just pay attention once it hits 3 gallons. Usually filled with 3.2-3.4 gallons. Bought it for my vespa but it didn't work for that application. The little bag fits right on the...
I use a McCuff collar on fill up. The one I have has a flat side so it fits with the hinged gas cap. Put nozzle half way in fill and wait for click. It fills to neck every time except when the nozzle is defective.
Rode to work yesterday. Mirrors work decent. Less buzzing than stock ones. Would work better if mirrors were bigger. At idle there is quite a bit more vibes. Still need more adjustment.
i did this yesterday. Cut the elbow off and screwed in new caps. Ran great. Next question is how well do these caps come off. Do I pull on the leads or get some sort of tweezer device next time I need to pull the spark plug? I'm thinking about getting that set of ngk to replace everything...
