Congrats on the new ride. Lots of helpful people online with these.

Some mods I have done. Consider the Aux lamp fuse holder mod as a must-do. I have a few left...PM me.
I made these:
Parts used described here:

I can make you a set, but you have to get on the list (currently about 18 deep). See the Stelvio thread on ADVrider if you want in.
I'm working on a plug and play fog light solution. You plug an in-line fuse between the connectors fused lower than the 30A one. No modifications, 100% reversable.
I've got the fuse holders and connectors on order. Will post when done.
rhip- I have a Wolfman large expedition bag that I can mount and take photos. Would that help? I'm a fan of water proof without rain covers.
Danketchpel- Remember you have a GPS connector that you can wire into a Powerlet on the left side if you don't want to hard-wire your GPS. You can use it...
Yea, that's my page. I started it due to the questions I was always getting of what I did, how it did it. Page will expand as I do more mods. (tool box, rear topcase, and...?)
As far as the powerlets- I convert all my stuff to these, including battery tenders. You can't use a tender on the NTX...
Let's say you had a '07 Griso and a salvage '12 Stelvio or other 8V.
Would the swap be all that hard?
Assuming that the Griso body and such would stay stock. The Stelvio would donate the wire harness, engine, trans, CARC, maybe the gauge cluster, etc.
Would they bolt right up with little...
For general running around, I decided on a Wolfman Peak tail bag. Fits the rear rack perfect.
The power port under the seat allows you to charge things in the rear bag.
KD is great to work with. I helped them with the 1" drop on the Griso after using their pegs on a 1125 buell.
Good luck with them. I have been very happy with the work they did for me.
Bar from Touratech ($35)
TT mount with zumo cradle
custom mount for the ipod remote and xm radio
Wired directly to the GPS wires on the bike.
I converted my ciggy outlets to powerlet, but don't use them for the GPS.
Ordered mine late June, Picked it up about 1 month later...
Since then I have mounted my Zumo, XM antenna, ipod remote, and changed the power sockets to powerlet type..
I was helping Knight Design with making the griso pegs. They took my dimentions and mentioned that they were identical (with some minor tweeks) to pegs they already had. I never asked WHICH pegs they were like, but they are very close to some another set.
My 2V griso and I were caught in a major downpour. The bike didn't run for crap at idle, but OK at speed. I had to nurse the throttle to keep it running. Some farting and popping as well.
I don't have a hugger, so I'm not sure if the air filter was getting wet or if the igition was the issue...
