    5 Month Ownership summary

I'd guess the weather. Colder and wetter (damp even).

    My 1200 Sport's first 'no-start' in 3 yrs/42000 miles

I recently bought a Motobatt for my 12S. It's an AGM battery and it's got four terminals, which in my case, with the PCV and all makes connections much easier than with any other battery I've had.

Have you been good boys while I was away? :D

Glad to be back, Todd! :D

    1200 Sport Pegs

This. Actually, you'll save a ton of money, and even more time just by doing that. Remember that moving the pegs involves moving the levers. Depending on how you want to set your pegs to be comfy the levers might not follow, as they have limited regulation capabilities.

    Some very impressive driving

I wish I had that kind of confidence! :)

Have you been good boys while I was away? :D

I think it's been 3 years+ since I last wrote (or read) in these boards. Much has changed in my life, except that I keep working my ass off  I stopped torturing myself with motorbikes after I broke my left arm in 2010. I did not want to read, or hear about them, because I could not enjoy...

    Footpegs for 1200 Sport

I've also found that to be a problem. Take a Dremel and make the serrations sharper ;)

    No-start/battery warning

I can read it well enough, thanks for the link RJVB! :D

    No-start/battery warning

Hi everyone! I'm slowly coming back to biking after my loooong story of health and work troubles, and the first thing I run onto was... yes, you guessed it, a dead Yuasa. Unfortunately shipping from the US kills any good deal or I'd order one of Todd's, so, what's a good replacement battery...

A long list of problems kept me away

Thanks guys :) I just have to be patient. I'm in no pain, just surviving so much idling. I already bought a Dremel to work on small stuff single handed, hehe.

A long list of problems kept me away

I'm still in my first week. I can hear the bones when I move the arm too much :S I train my forearm though, but I won't be able to start recovery therapy with the full arm for 9 weeks or so. I have a test tomorrow and we'll see how it goes; Gilchrist or surgery. I was working with heavy crates...

A long list of problems kept me away

Bad weather, non-stop. Crappiest year for motorcycling that I remember. Work, lots of it in a town with the worst connectivity on earth. Then a summer job with 16h shifts and no will left but to sleep and eat. And when I finally was about to go on riding vacation, the 25th I broke my left arm...

    Pamplona-Dunfermline

I'll travel, most likely alone, to the nice Scotland, during the second part of July :)

Catalunya this summer - anyone able to advice?

Hehe, it happens that I spent my younger year summers very close to there, in Comarruga (just a few Km south). You can travel by motorbike there no problem, and the coastal roads are nice for short trips, but traffic during summer is usually denser than during the rest of the year. Beware of...

    Breva sold today

Yeah, I have to confess I consideres the Ulysses very seriously, but there were some drawbacks that kept me on Guzzi's arms. Fortunately for me I'm still young(ish) and can move the Sport quite well. If not... the new Multistrada is yummy One last word: Bellagio. Nice engine, low seat, less...

    clutch/brake lever adjust question

I have mines angled down to suit my position. If you have the controls attached to the bar via pins they will rotate with the levers. I have another bar, so I'm not using the pins on the right side, and on the left it's convenient because it brings turn signals lever up, closer to normal position.

She'll come back in another form, you'll see :D

    What is under your seat?

Two piece rain suit or full rain cover, GPS charger, bike's papers, default tools, two 10cm rubber tension ties.

    I've heard Guzzi rumours...

About a V9 engine :) (engine for a V9 machine, not V-9 hehe) 1400cc engines are on a stop, for the moment. I'll post more info as soon as there's something :P

    Who contacted me?

I had three messages that you deleted, so they were empty. I found the old ones though. It seems that these forums have TWO PM boxes! I'll try to compile some info for you soon :D got a couple of routes you might want to check in map.
