All I can say is any 'Wanna be' can buy a crotch rocket and go fast but it takes a special/passionate soul to push and love the Griso-congrats! :woohoo:
GuzziHero, I did read all your posts a while back when I was searching the forums for answers. Thanks for the link again tough as it is always good reading. Also I fancy myself strange alright, but without question when I am parked next to any other bike people always come check out the Griso. I...
Hey Guzzihero thanks for the reply. I LOVE the orange but have never seen it here in the states. I do own an orange Victory Hammer (called Sunset nuclear) and I am fond of the louder colors :D
I realize that the bars are really a preference so it's just my opinion. I know some guys like the...
Ok all I've had my 07 Griso for a handful on months and though it's still winter here I have taken it out when weather permits. Overall I truly enjoy this bike-so exclusive and the harder you ride it the better it seems to get. There were however a few things that bothered me about the bike when...
OK here is my rational. Any holes drilled in the tubes for low, mid and high speed damp/rebound wouldn't come into effect til said suspension was in the proper range of motion. Hence it shouldnt matter where the settings are in regard to sag. If it did matter my thoughts are that one should...
Have read quite a bit about setting the Griso up correctly and now I have some base numbers to use thanks to this forum. My only question is do I set the sag first then the damping/rebound or what is the proper order? Does it matter? Thanks!
If you want more sweep check my threat about "griso handle bars". In that thread someone mentions a make of bars that maybe exactly what you are looking for. Definitely worth a read.
Well I cracked the banjo bolt and tried to rotate it but it wont budge. It is definately loose enough but it feels like there is a stop of some sort in the way. I will have to drain the master and remove the banjo completely to get a better look. TBC.
No worries. I feel the same way you do about the handling having ridden CRs all my life. Thats one of the reasons I went with a lower more forward bar-in the hopes of getting me "in" the bike more. Also going to drop the forks in the trees 10mm and see if that sets up the front end better to...
Thanks for the reply. I figured I'd try that but I am going to drain the master first and just bleed the system when done. I'll let you know how it turns out.
I just put on the Rizoma Conical bars with Rizoma retro round mirrors that I attached directly to the bar ends as to not add any more width. Love them!
I just did a handle bar switch (see Griso handle bar thread) and am very happy with the out come. One issue I now have is that the new placement of the front brake lever/master cylander puts the front brake line where it connects to the master cylander right on top of the adjustment screw on the...
