    V9 Roamer Alarm Light

John, reference maintenance book, it is #7 on pg 61, general alarm light. Pg 64 describes it as a oil pressure sensor or oil pressure problem. It started blinking intermittently yesterday on a ride, probably 4-5 times on a 70 mile ride. Oil level is good.

    Bassa Steering Dampener

Thanks for all the input. I have been riding new Triumph Bonnevilles for several years, just bought the Bassa and was not used to the longer and heavier bike. I have ridden it several more times and it seems to be smoothing out. I am also going to take it to Rider's Hill and let them go thru it...

    Bassa Steering Dampener

I just purchased a 98' Bassa and the steering damper was taken off by the PO. My question is will this effect the handling of the bike. This is the only Guzzi Cali style bike I have ridden so cannot compare. There are a couple of used damper's now on evil bay, Pinwall Cycle has them listed, are...

Thanks, I have heard they will go up to 150000K when taken care of. I have had Guzzi lust for some time now and think I will go ahead and jump on the bike.

    EV1100

I have a chance to buy an EV1100 Bassa, it is a nice bike but has about 70K miles on the odometer. Would this amount of miles scare you guys away? The bike has been serviced regularly and has many extras, good paint and chrome, new tires and just presents well. Thanks in advance for any replies.
