• Ciao Guest - You’ve landed at the ultimate Guzzi site. NEW FORUM REGISTRATIONS REQUIRE EMAIL ACTIVATION - CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER - Use the CONTACT above if you need help. New to the forum? For all new members, we require ONE post in the Introductions section at the bottom, in order to post in most of the other sections. ALWAYS TRY A SEARCH BEFORE STARTING A NEW TOPIC - Most questions you may have, have likely been already answered. DON'T BE A DRIVE-BY POSTER: As a common courtesy, check back in and reply within 24 hours, or your post will be deleted. Note there's decades of heavily experienced Guzzi professionals on this site, all whom happily give endless amounts of their VALUABLE time for free; BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL!
  • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
  • Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Click the SERVICE tab above for the best in service, tires, tuning and installation of our products or custom work, and don't miss our GT MotoCycles® (not) art on the BUILDS tab above. WE'RE HERE ONLINE ONLY - NO PHONE CALLS MADE OR RECEIVED - DO NOT EMAIL AND ASK QUESTIONS OR ASK TO CALL YOU.
  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. We really appreciate every $ and your support to keep this site ad-free. Create an account, sign in, upgrade your account, and enjoy. See you on the road in 2024.

Best speed sensor sealant and technique?

And the best possible sealant might not help when... I took my bike to a local shop for a new rear tyre and asked them to change it as well. While I was waiting and partly windowshopping and partly checking from a distance how do they progress on the task, I noticed that in my horror at some...

    Griso Bags

Re: Re:Griso Bags Only if you use rear / top carrier. For side carriers / panniers you do not have to make any extra holes. And for the rear carrier you actually remove a plug or cover from the existing hole. http://www.hepco-becker.de/anbauanleitungen/650537.0101.pdf...

    8V or V8

It is not that far fetched. 1955 they did it. Are you sure you didn't misunderstood the question? Maybe they did not ask about your bike but were considering you as a Guzzi expert and were asking about that 1955 V8 Guzzi and admiring the history and tradition! :P .

Will wrote: from http://mggriso.guzzitech.com you can download (see Manuals) both 8v and 1100 service manuals. There is a wiring diagram in the service manual. In Griso8V the connector is "7. GPS coupling" .

Kid Thunder wrote: OK, New photo. You can see the green connector (circled in red) hanging there from the wire. Initially (I hope I can remember correctly, this is an old picture) it was tucked to a hole or cavity in front of the horn (see the arrow). I pulled it out, let it hang there and...

    4V recall info - READ

toddhaven wrote: Might be, might be not. Ignoring that technical update and blowing up or immobilizing your engine right in the middle of tight bend might be a safety issue to yourself or any third parties around you. NHTSA might be interested - or not. However that was not the point...

    4V recall info - READ

I think recall information is supposed to be public information. If I were you, I would contact these guys... http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ "About the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) is an office within the National Highway Traffic Safety...

Noticed a new part on 2009 Griso 8v

It has been already added sometime late 2007/ early 2008, as my bike (which I recieved March 2008) has it. However it is missing in 8V Press Release images from September 2007, so I believe the first bunch of bikes did not have that. Of course, as it does not have any obvious functionality...

    Forum usability

Well, I have 10M/10M VDSL connection at home. (And "fast enough" connection at work, if I were to use my lunch brake to surf...). And still these pages have been always painfully slow until this week. No, it is not the "last mile" connection speed. At the moment they seem to be quite fast so...

    Forum usability

:( Now we are back in original problem and situation. It takes a half minute after each click for the page to load. My first post was not intended to be read like it were a complaint. Sorry. . PS: Or it might be... Now: IE + XP -> slow, yesterday: OSX + Camino -> fast

    Forum usability

No "this forum" topic, I'll put this here. Please move it, if there is a better place. I do not know if I had a private problem or was it a more general one. I was used to waiting 5 to 10 seconds after clicking the forum for anything to show up. Now, during last couple of days the usability...

Griso REGISTRY & Picture Thread - ADD YOUR BIKE

Re:Griso Picture Thread My 8V There was a query about bags sent to me as PM. I Answered that but for you all... The bags are Hepco & Becker Journey bags. H&B makes a specific carrier for Griso and I installed it to 8V. No modification for the bike required except I had to make blinker...
