Griso suddenly wont start (will try, stumbles, but dies)

That is a LOT of water. Wow. No wonder it wouldn't run right. Did you make sure the drain at the fuel filler was clear?

    New V7/85 65hp for 2021

That is good news. That should address one of the bigger shortcomings of the V7. But if I already owned a V7 (or even if I didn't) I think I would rather have Todds 820 cc 4 valve set up. But I think I heard Todd say he was phasing that kit out and only the 820 kit for 2 valve motors was still...

Should Guzzi compete in the King of Baggers?

Sadly, as I recall the rules for the Bagger class were specific to allow HD's and Indians ONLY. The Indians weren't allowed engine mods, the HD's were allowed pretty much anything they could do to the motor. Certain other aspects were nailed down, like must use the original engine mounts. But...

    Guzzis @ Norton Motorcycles

That is a good video to explain how it works. Thanks for posting it.

    Guzzis @ Norton Motorcycles

Word is, that is what Mazda are going to do. They are bringing back their rotary, but a smaller version made to extend the range of an electric Mazda. I guess it is better than no rotary, but it is sad that the days of the 4 rotor Mazda 787B are probably gone forever. That was a cool motor.

    Guzzis @ Norton Motorcycles

The new design moves the seals from the moving rotor tips to the sides of the new peanut shaped rotor. The rotor tip is the weak link in the engine design, and the focus of much of Mazda's R&D trying to get the rotary to work. The biggest break through for Mazda was figuring out how to move the...

    Guzzis @ Norton Motorcycles

I know this is getting off track, but a company has invented a new version of a rotary engine, where the rotor is "peanut" shaped and the track it rides in is triangular shaped (the opposite of a traditional rotary engine)...

    Disc pad recommendations

The EBC HH pads are not that bad. I don't like them personally, for a street bike they are too aggressive for my tastes (too much initial bite). But they aren't that bad. Personally I would go with an organic pad, which they should have. Or you could go with a ceramic pad, which they probably...

    Guzzis @ Norton Motorcycles

I don't care for the fat dirtbike, I mean "Scrambler" look. But for a fat dirtbike that looks fine to me. The only thing I would change is blacking out (or bronzing out) that shiny clutch cover.

1 of the Top 25 Motorcycles of the last 100 years !

I doubt I will ever get to see / hear one in person, but that Guzzi V8 is an amazing creation. I was lucky enough to see / here the Honda 250cc 6 cylinder GP bike run when racing in AHRMA. That things was amazing. I can only imagine how much more intense the Guzzi V8 is.

    rusted in exhaust bolt

I think it was more about being careful and precise, but being lucky never hurts. I had tried what Scott suggests, and that failed. Eventually, drilling it out was my only option left without pulling the head. If it went south, I would have had to pull the head. So really I had nothing to loose.

    Brake upgrade

Personally, I like the feel of Ferodo pads over EBC pads. And while EBC does make some nice pads I am not a fan of their HH pads. They are very aggressive. I prefer brakes with better feel that are easier on the disc. But to each their own.

    MUI to 15M conversion

Todd has done both a big bore conversion for the V7 and a 4 valve per cylinder conversion, and I never heard him mention needing higher flow injectors. So I assume the stock injectors aren't near their duty cycle limit even with the increase in airflow.

    rusted in exhaust bolt

Last resort is to cut the stud off flush, center punch it, and drill it out. I once did that on a Buell. I used a drill bit that was smaller than the stud, and kept switching to bigger and bigger drill bits until I could remove the threads of the stud from the hole. That actually left the...

    V7i Clutch

Honestly, you don't hear that many complaining about the V7 clutch. There have been some issues, like when the factory forgot to install a bearing when building the bikes, or the poor routing of the clutch cable causing it to contact the exhaust pipe and mess up the cable. So I am not sure you...

    MUI to 15M conversion

Both fuel injection systems do the same thing. There would be no performance advantage if all you did was swap out on FI system for the other. Even an aftermarket FI system alone would not offer a performance advantage worth the cost of the system. You would have to make other changes to the...

Rubber clutch inspection bung has fallen in transmission.

Right. That plug is to the bell housing, where the dry clutch lives. This isn't the first plug to fall into the bell housing, and it won't be the last. I would plug that hole with another one, or a wine bottle cork. But I would not worry about that plug causing damage. If it does catch on the...

    V7iii Carby conversion

You aren't going to get more power, torque, or fuel economy by switching to carbs. You will likely give up some of that, though. You may gain some by things like porting and / or cams, but you could do that with FI as well. That said, if you really want to go that way, I would think it is do-able.

    V7II Stone Throttle Body Size

I would suggest you reconsider your plan. Why do you want to make your motorcycle slower? Because that is what it will do.

    V7 III - removing triple

To get the top triple clamp off it helps to remove any loading on it. If the bike is sitting on the ground there will be a side load between the clamp and the forks. If you jack the front end up into the air there will still be a side load between the clamp and the forks, just in the other...
