    Pyramid Plastics Fender Extenda

Yikes! That would add some unwanted thrills! I'm a big guy and likely compress things quite a bit. Lucky tolerances, perhaps?
  2. craigclu

    Pyramid Plastics Fender Extenda

I've got one on my 8V Norge and it works perfectly. The curve of the Extenda follows the concave front of the oil cooler grill with just the right amount of gap for air flow but good coverage, keeping the grit and road dirt at bay.

    Potential purchase Norge 1200

I'm another 2014 owner. I bought mine new as a carry-over deal in 2016. I've got 9000 miles on mine and haven't had any issues. I've got some CARC seepage/venting issues going on but it's seemed to heal itself somehow. I put lowered pegs on and a 3/4" lift to the bars and my 67 year old body...

    Norge Specs

Putting my 2014 Norge away for the season, I was rather surprised at how much gear I had gradually allowed into my top case and saddle bags. I'm going to re-think some of my "necessities" for next season as the bike is at the high end of my comfort zone as I get more decrepit with age. Early...

    Bag Liners For Norge

I went through the same sequence that you have done, finding Karla not making them anymore... I am quite pleased with the UK-sourced liners and was especially pleased with the quality as the low price had me a bit apprehensive. They arrived more quickly than I expected, too.

Looking for handlebar risers for '15 Norge

I bought these parts (haven't installed yet) but it seems to be a viable, low cost option for a 3/4" rise. Here's the post from another forum: The parts list (for 3/4" risers) UPDATED, please see the spacer spec for the change. Apologies to anyone that bought the wrong spacers. From Fastenal...

    Bag Liners For Norge

I was wishing I could get Karla's but at the time I was looking, the messaging appeared to indicate she wasn't going to continue the activity. I just dropped the above information as the ones I got are still available and seem to be a viable and affordable option. I was nervous about ordering...

    Bag Liners For Norge

I bought some off the eBay seller greatbikersgear-gbg that appear very similar, if not the same bags. I see they still list them and are one of the first things that pop up under a "guzzi norge bag" search. I thought they worked well last season and certainly are handy. They're also handy for...

    Breva 11 - Norge 12 & 1200 Sport Registry and picture thread

Here's a wayside at Maiden Rock, Wisconsin. Great roads in SW Wisconsin along the Mississippi in bluff country.

    Norge hot foot

I've read comments related to the Norge 8V exhaust that seem to assume the catalytic converter is in 2 places... Is it in the muffler unit or the compensator (colostomy bag)?

Bucking in 1st, less in 2nd, even less in 3rd, and fine thereafter

How has this played out? Any follow up?

    Failing Dealers

An acquaintance is a multi-brand dealer (Japanese). Bike sales were down 60% last year and this year looks about the same. They more than make up for it with 4 wheeler and side-by-side sales (and the very good accessories-related sales for them). They sell many more trailers for those toys...

New Norge and new to this site

Not sure if this has been hashed elsewhere but I couldn't find it.... I've got 650 miles on the new Norge and thought I should check for lead time for the 1,000 mile check-up, fluid changes with a couple of dealers in Minnesota. They're both 3 weeks out and short of help. Is there any...

    Guzzi paint sub-par?

I'm recently retired from XXX company and worked in product development on paint/finish-related issues for the HD account. I agree, they went to great pains to only allow flawless finishes out the door and were great partners on joint projects to that end. They were the standard we worked...

    Norge 8V, exhaust suggestions

I hadn't discovered the Guzzitech for my Norge when deciding.... Does it require remapping? What sort of volume level pipe is it?

    Guzzi paint sub-par?

When pulling the warning labels off my new Norge (white) tank in the area to place a tank protector, just pulling/peeling with a fingernail detached a rather large area of paint (about a 1/2" patch) from the tank. With some trimming of the protector to get the larger sections re-located, the...

New Norge and new to this site

I haven't done anything and haven't noticed it but am going to add a small bumper at the hinge. I've had some vertigo flare up and didn't want to crawl around on my back and stir it up right now. It appears that only a 1/16" of material would give enough clearance at the peg point. I have...

    Norge 8V, exhaust suggestions

I've got a new Norge, too. I put an Italian-made GPR Albus on and retained both of its db killers. To my ear, the sound is just right. It has a nice, low pitch with just a bit more volume than the original. It is pleasant on the road without the type of droning that wears on you. I got the...

New Norge and new to this site

I'm a Norge newbie, too. 65 and recently retired. Even though I'm relatively short-legged at a 30" inseam, I found the stock pegs a bit high and replaced them with them with 1 3/8" lowered units from Knight: http://tinyurl.com/jrj76mp Really made more of a difference in the comfort level...
