    Dipstick help for a dipstick.

Someone on Facebook saved the day! 15.5 cm High to 18.5cm Low from from under the cap. Minus 1.5 for the threads and it looks like 14cm-17cm.

    Dipstick help for a dipstick.

I haven't put any oil in it yet. Just drained oil properly and captured about 1/2 gal of used oil. 3.78L = Gal., not including anything in filter.

    Dipstick help for a dipstick.

I moved and I have no idea where I put some of my Griso parts. Wow, I'm such an idiot. I read the service manual backwards. Off to remove oil drain plug...damn. I'm usually not that dense. Not sure about any icecream social in SG. Might be gone. They do a car show at the Corn Boil. Still...

    Dipstick help for a dipstick.

When I took off filter and released oil from banjo bolts, not a lot of oil came out. It filled about 3/4 of an inch of a milk jug. Using my aluminum dip stick, there's like a 1/4" of oil in it but this dipstick is longer than original. I'm afraid of overfilling if I put 3.3 liters in it...

    Dipstick help for a dipstick.

2007 Griso 1100 Hey guys. I'm back with another dumb issue. I'm in the middle of an oil change and I can't find my oem dipstick. See, I replaced it with an aluminum a while ago but I know the marks don't match up. Does anyone have the measurements of their oem by chance? If someone could...

Where does this go? Brake Help!

Wish it were a cotter pin. Yes, I'll be hitting up my nearest hardware store. They don't carry as much in the US as they used to though.

Where does this go? Brake Help!

Thanks again for the help. I was able to reset the metal spring and get everything back together...except, I lost the darn pin clip. Can't find it anywhere. Looks like they don't sell clip separately either. Guess I won't be riding until next week.

Where does this go? Brake Help!

Kevin, you are a real hero. Thank you for taking apart your caliper and pics. I owe you big time! Steve, I grew up in Lisle and very familiar with DuPage County. Looks like you farmed not that far from my home in Sugar Grove. I was just in Hinkley last week...they have a decent BBQ restaurant...

Where does this go? Brake Help!

I'll mess with it tonight. I was hoping there was a detent or an area I could see to lay it in. Last thing I want is to put it in and have a failure of some sort. I'm in Sugar Grove, IL. Moved out of Wheaton about 5 years ago. Are you familiar with the area?

Where does this go? Brake Help!

2007 Griso 1100, Rear Brake Caliper. Hello. I've got this metal spring that fell out of my caliper when removing to replace pads. I have no idea where it exactly goes. I've post all over the world but no one can tell me the exact place where it fits. I just dont want to jam it into somewhete. I...

    Instrument Cluster Swap?

Removed the old plastic chrome POS and put on the flat black dash cover and it fit like a glove. Looks like everyone was correct again! Thanks for your help.

    Exhaust Gaskets

Well I buttoned up the exhaust and saw the gaskets in the ports. I have new ones but I couldn't get the old ones out. Didn't want to score anything trying to pry them out so I just slammed the headers back in. I don't think they are leaking but it's not like I'm holding a candle to the engine...

Arrow Exhaust questions for 2007 Griso

Wow, the pipe came in yesterday and I'm impressed. What a work of art. Slapped in on the bike and it looks wicked! I'm happy how it turned out. Much better in person than in pictures, that's for sure. Black SS on a black Griso really works together and now I can see more of the rear wheel, save...

    Rizoma turn signals

Just an FYI, Rizoma seems to be portraying like their products are made in Italy. Truth be told, they outsource their designs to Asia, where they are quality made. But for a product made in Asia, they are way overpriced. If you email Rizoma to ask them about their production location, you will...

    Measuring Question

I tried contacting Brembo and they sent me to another party that handles US inquiries. I had the part number and they investigated and measured their reservoir and came up with 42mm. It seems that this isn't that common of a size. The only real option I have seen so far is from probolt usa...

Arrow Exhaust questions for 2007 Griso

Ended up buying the Agostini HF Black silencer. It's hard to tell what it is going to look like on the bike but we'll see when it gets here next week.

    Measuring Question

Not sure if anyone here can help. My digital calipers hit the floor and cracked the screen. I need the measurements off my G11 of the brake oil tank (brake fluid reservoir) outside diameter. I also need the interior diameter of the brake fluid tank cap. Measurements needed so I can try and find...
