Thinking of trading in my Black Devil

Not in CA. Full value of new bike taxed regardless.

    One cylinder firing

Hopefully so. For me, it was a bad ecu that was replaced under warranty.

    Got the latest new Griso

That's beautiful. Did you consider changing the frame from silver to black?

New GRiSO exhaust from Arrow Special Parts in Italy

Very nice write-up, Steve. Thanks for taking the time to do that. Do you live in West Seattle? (I used to - not far from the pier you took the shot of...)

Best Tank & Tail Bag combo

I don't use a tank bag, but my usual tail bag is a Roadgear, which has built-in bungies and attaches easily to a tail rack and the under-fender lugs (with fabric around the cord to protect the paint): I recently needed more space for a long weekend and used a Patagonia duffle (had to rig my...

    U.S. Griso Cup?

It would be fun, but work demands would likely restrict participation. Also, for me I'd be hesitant to race my only motorcycle, except at 9/10's, which would mean no trophy for me! With that said, the parts kit seems quite reasonable:

    Griso 8V SE Tenni Exhaust

I would want to know which, if either, require a further investment in ECU mods in order for the bike to run properly.

Griso 8V vs Harley VROD ( VRSCR) Streetrod

I'm 6'1" and with the flyscreen have no trouble with wind at freeway speeds (80-85). I live outside LA and a few weeks ago took a 3-day trip north of SF to Point Reyes Station and back via Big Sur. The wind hits you on the chest, just like a small faring, and I was not tired from hanging on...

Attempted to buy a Griso today, horrible dealership lol

Sorry, I bought my bike from Monica and must disagree in terms of service capability. Took them weeks to figure out I had a bad ECU and never got back to me (after 2 inquiries) on a warranty replacement of a bad decal. Nice people though.

    Bar End Mirrors...

The mirrors come with replacement bar-end weights that bolt right in place of the originals. Have never used a throttle lock so can't help you there.

    Newbie seeks advice

The stock settings are a bit harsh on high speed bumps (what else matters?). Surprisingly, some have determined (and this worked for me too) that reducing rebound dampening, rather than compression, is the way to go. I now have a pretty plush ride after taking rebound down to about 40 clicks...

Attempted to buy a Griso today, horrible dealership lol

Vespa Sherman Oaks also has a good reputation and they have your bike listed for $12,690. http://www.vespaso.com/new_vehicle_deta ... lYear=2013

Is anyone ok with their stock Griso?

Me too (2010 Griso). You do have to ease the throttle open very gradually when transitioning to acceleration, which is probably made easier with the reflash and the recommendation of removing any slack from the throttle cables, but I simply do it myself and no longer think about it. Once firmly...

Less drain plug debris after switching to Motul ?

Yes, extremely impressive. I wonder if there are similar tests for the MG recommended brand?

    Griso, Rizoma bar ends, mirrors.

BTW, I just installed he Rizoma Spy R bar-end mirrors, and the adaptor that is "required" was not needed. The Allen bolts that come with the mirrors screwed directly into the stock plug. Had to paint the head of the plug black, however, as it was now exposed (the stock bar end weights have a...

Almost Pulling the Trigger on a Griso SE

Tough call, as I like them both. Frankly, the weight of the Griso is not a negative to me. Sometimes too light of a bike on the street can bounce around and not feel planted. The primary negative to the MG is finding a good dealer and yes, accessories are limited. But I just love the way it...

Stebel mounted on Griso 8V ?

I was under the impression the horn was a single unit, which I had tentatively planned to put where one of the existing horns are. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/pr ... /2137/565/

Griso - Blowing main 30amp Fuse

Not buried under the tank or seat like you'd expect, but in front of the tank behind a little piece of plastic

    Griso 12VDC Acc. Cable

No, I agree, I've got my GPS wired into the same connection. What concerned me was that you said some folks are against hard-wiring a GPS. What is their concern - has it caused a problem? John
