    one thing worth to point out when adjusting the clutch cable. make sure you handle bar is facing forward when adjusting, not when it is turn to left like when it is parked. something simple but i always overlook. and it does make a few mm different on the clutch cable when the cable is stretch...

    yeah, Rizoma bar end bolt right up to the V7, I didnt use any of the screw/bolt that comes with it, use the orginal screw and it fit the Rizoma bar end

    sorry to hi jack this post, but since we are talking about oil. I went oil shopping the other day and the shop recommand me the Bel-Ray EXS 5w60. its full synethetic and 5w so i think its better than 10w? so my question is would there be any problem if i use that instead of 10w60 ?

    I am using Rizoma retro on my racer, the orginal bar end wont work. go get one of the Rizoma bar end (I am using MA502) and the orginal screw fit the Rizoma bar end without problem. no adapter needed.

    Went oil shopping for my V7 racer. the bike shop dont carry 10w60 but recommand this Bel ray 5W60 EXS. I dont see any problem but any one tried that with the V7 before?

    That doesnt seems right, the 2012 V7 comes with old motor and metal tank in north America. that tank should fit the pre-2012 bike without problem.

    Hey Guzzipete, I got the same set up as yours, reverse retro with rizoma bar ends, do you us any of the black inner ring that comes with the mirror? even the thinnest ring wont fit and I install mine with out it but not feeling too secure (you can see how much the clamp was bent from the pic)

    Thanks for everyones advise, finally got it done, for before picture please refer to page 2, I also got the bar end from Rizoma which is a direct fit, didnt even need to use any of the screw/hardware it comes with.

    GriGio, I uploaded the pic of my bike, its not very clear but the barend on my bike looks like the one you posted. so i can just clip the mirror on the barend directly?
