are the carbs set up as it came stock? guzziolagy (sp) has a better set up. different slides/jets/needles etc.
stock set up runs lean, spits/farts some.
my 95 clunks, less so when you shift at the right speed.

looks like you already have a non stock...
universal rear stand kits. any bike with a dual swingarm. I've never had to drop the swingarm my EV or Sport 1100.
On the EV just tilt the wheel to clear the fender. No experience with the v7/9. so maybe that won't work?

That being said, a center stand is ALWAYS good to have.
A shop stand is handy for doing all sorts of maintenance or repairs, but I wouldn't be w/o a center stand if available
yeah, go with a stand, there are a bunch of different ones available. think of how you feel, if you turned around to get a wrench, and you hear.......CRASH...
Keep one for a spare, or as trading points. I have different mufflers/crossover now and lots of carb. parts. Slides/jets, etc.
