None of these problems over here with the V7. from january till now (= 0 to 30 degrees C) never a problem starting the bike. I never run on idle for a time, just fire up and take off.

I asked for a metal tank as well. Might be the best sulution, in stead of an other plastic tank blowing up in a few months...

Why not just enjoy what you like, IMO that is real freedom.

I have one of the V7racers, bought it about two months ago. Had to wait some weeks before it arrived (with chrome tank here in Europe) and bought it off course for the srandard price (including the hig Dutch taxes) of 9,900 €

so good i bought one myself #0907 .
as time goes by, new guzzi's turn into older Guzzi's and still have their charmes.
I owned a lemans II and a lario. The V7R is as good as any other bike from mandello.... and it has stunning looks. so.....the answer is YES you do ;)...

Maybe the people don't know it because it is a Moto Guzzi.... (not Motto Guzzi;)

On my V7 racer it was just the clutch cable that was a little bit too long. After re-ajustment everything went smooth again....Check that first of all, would be my advice.
