I felt the same way about the deepfake Bush/Thatcher T&A car wash video... innocence lost.

    Fairing Q...

I could live with the V11 Sport Le Mans faring, or the Ghezzi-Brian Folgore Supertwin faring. Alas, I had a paralysis of analysis for several weeks, and totally copped out. I ended up making a flyscreen out of an old cat litter bucket, yet again.

    Removing Norge Tupperware Discovery

Most interesting, I've often wondered how difficult it would be to install a Norge upper fairing on my Breva.

I took the bike on an 87 mile test ride with a winger friend and it ran like it did back in the day, when I used to brag about it being the most reliable bike I've ever owned.

I considered trying to bypass the instrument cluster by installing a momentary switch on the starter relay but I couldn't remember if the fuel pump still primed with the starter locked out. I just walked outside and put the key in the ignition. The gauges cycled thru and the damn thing cranked...

John I'm not a complete idiot, reconnecting the antenna was the first thing I did. Deadeye, I can't remember who I bought it from, I'm thinking Pinwall. Ebay's purchase history only goes back to 2019. There are a few Norge gauges listed on ebay now, but only one seller has a user code...

    Fairing Q...

I fabbed up a mounting plate for the gauge and during the installation the immobilizer antenna got disconnected. The gauge is a replacement that I purchased from ebay when the original shorted out 3 years ago. I've read over the "Breva one key no code" thread and tried the suggested numbers with...

Here ya go, I kinda figured they might be mounting points for a Norge's nose fairing.

    Fairing Q...

The beam pattern isn't as focused as the stock headlight assembly, but it's brighter. I haven't had any cagers flash their high beams at me, probably because they are angled toward the shoulder. Now for another dumb Q; there a 2 lugs welded to the front of the steering neck, big enough for a 10m...

    Fairing Q...

I had a setback, after reinforcing the cereal container with fiberglass it still split across the bottom when I tried attaching it to the headlight mounts. My interim fix was to gut the stock headlight and install the fog lights inside it. I hate the look, but at least the fog lights don't...

After all these years, it finally happened to me...

I found the OEM Ford part for chump change. If the elbow kit from af1racing is a fail, I'll order several of the plastic ones. rtimdev.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=424963

After all these years, it finally happened to me...

Thanks for the response guys. I went thru the older threads to find the wisdom needed to remove the rest of it. Mayakovski, that looks like the part. The website I saw it on didn't offer it as an installation kit, it just listed the elbow with the description 'Replaces the broken plastic OEM...

After all these years, it finally happened to me...

...Decided to pull the tank so I could reroute the wires for my battery tender and of course shit immediately went sideways. A coupla months back I was browsing parts on somebody's website and noticed they offered a steel replacement elbow, naturally I didn't bookmark it. Would any of yous guys...

The heatsinks don't get very hot and they will be about 15mm away from the sides of the container. The downside with this mod is the plastic isn't impact resistant like lexan or abs, I'll have to cover it with a layer of fiberglass.

Thanks for the compliment. The vertical arrangement looks strange, but it won't be mistaken for a car at night. I'm about to start on an enclosure, which was cleverly disguised as a food storage container.

I replaced my breva's ape hangers with Tarozzi high-rise clip-ons.

Todd, thanks for the airtech link, I'll check out their fairings after dinner. John, I had thought about doing that exact mod, then the harness went up in flames and I needed something cheap, asap. Walmart had the fog lights on clearance for $12 ( I bought 3) and I had leftover slotted angle...

    Fairing Q...

I love the classic bullet fairing but I was thinking something square and fork-mounted, like the Le Mans MKIII. After my headlight housing melted I installed a coupla square led fog lights and the headlight opening looks 1/2 ass.

    Fairing Q...

Has anybody here made a custom bikini fairing for the Breva V1100? I did a google image search and found nada.

2 stupid Breva wiring harness questions...

Thanks again for the replies. I peeled back more of the harness and found the ends of the taped wires. The chop shop left all the other sensors connected to the harness but removed that one, smfh.
