Should this look like this ?

Hi everyone. Just a quick update. Today the quagmire outside finally dried up enough to get the sporti out for a test ride. The first in months. Anyway I had done a few bodges in order to get the wheels properly in line , down to the last mm as best I could measure. And the bike is transformed...

Should this look like this ?

Hmm . Looking at the pics in the book it looks like the centreline from the headstock runs straight down through top shock mount and to the lower shock mount so the tyres centreline should line up perfectly and the chassis side plates are 8mm offset. Still not sure though. Tbh I've gone over so...

Should this look like this ?

Hi everyone. I've noticed that my rear tyre on my 1100 sporti Does not look central with the rear shock and spine frame and on checking the wheel alignment the back is 9mm off. I cant rule out a twisted frame but just wondered , should the rear wheel centreline run straight through the shock...

Good news. Just been out and fired her up, always starts fine, and it sounded much more crisp and even. Going to get my kit on and take her out for a quick blast. Couldnt detect any major difference in head temp after 2 mins. Maybe the bike pixies have come and fixed it during last nights snow...

please help me and my guzzi !!!

:) Thanks for your replies. I sort of guessed that I'd have to swap the coils over to see if the problem moves to the other cylinder. but the cold running and high consumption made me wonder if the injector could be sending way to much fuel to the cylinder and flooding it on start up? The choke...
