    Headlight low-beam not working

I have a 14 Norge and had the exact same issue of no high or low beam and chased my tail for a while. It ended up being a simple fix of replacing the relay on the left side of the steering column under the black panel. You have a low/hi beam relay on the right side and a light relay on the...

Need help finding VIN number on motorcycle

Luca, I have a 2014 Norge in Florida and I am pretty certain the DMV will want to see the VIN. It is very easy to find. Put it on the sidestand and turn the handlebars to the left. There it is.

    Norge headlight problem

It ended up being the microswitch on the rear brake lever. Frustrating little thing. It screws into the rear brake lever and when you depress the brake lever, the microswitch extends and the brake light turns on. Take the foot off the lever, the switch is depressed and the brake light is off...

    Norge headlight problem

I just turned ignition through steering lock and onto parking lights. The front parking lights are on but the brake lights are off. Shouldn't they be on? Sorry about post hijack.

    Norge headlight problem

Another development that may or may not be related. Tonight I am back to no lowbeam or brights and my brake light is stuck on bright. I am going to chase down a relay tomorrow. Do those two circuits have anything in common or is this separate?

    Norge headlight problem

Many thanks. So that is GU29732550 around $30 online or is that a common part from auto stores under a different description?

    Norge headlight problem

I have a Norge with the same/similar problem. A '14 but only 550 miles on the clock. First time, I had the parking lights and hi beam but no low beams. Dealer kept it for a few weeks then said both low beam bulbs were blown - I suspect they just started working again. Second time few rides...

    Cali 1400 Custom LaFranconi exhaust

Test rode a Cali 1400 Custom today for 45 minutes. There were two Customs and a Touring available as well as a V7 Racer, V7 Stone, 1200 Sport 8v, Stelvio and a Griso Black Devil. I jumped on the first Custom, realised partway through the ride that the other Custom sounded a lot better than...

    Keep blowing 30a fuse

I had the same problem on my 2010 SE - went through quite a lot of fuses when it blew intermittently until eventually had a constant (dead) short - so had to pay for an expensive tow one night (Ghezzi has his phone turned off). Did a whole bunch of things all at once (cleaned all the...

Best Tank & Tail Bag combo

+1 on the Kriega. I have the US-30 on the tail as a daily and when I need extra space, clip the US-20 onto it. Can clip another US-20 onto it for 70 litres total. Have never needed a tank bag.

    Griso GT-Rx® Exhaust Offerings

Re: New Griso GT-Rx™ Exhaust Offering Nice pipe - looks like I was a few months too early. Do you have the dB at idle and 3k rpm for the existing right side? If you drop that new one down to 94db @3k rpm it would be at least noise legal over here.

Check Oil red light when running

No photo, work makes me have a blackberry and the camera sucks but this came immediately to mind. Possibly the one thing that the US has over Australia :D “When they told me to lose weight, I was like, are they playing a joke on me? I’ve always been known for my body! … My friend says that...

Check Oil red light when running

Got a resolution on this today. An oil leak was noticed for unobservant me between the engine and the left hand cylinder. No drips on the floor just some oil at the base of the cylinder. First advice was that it was the gasket between the cylinder and engine and big $$. Ended up that oil was...

Check Oil red light when running

Thanks John, That pretty well describes what happened. When we got into town, we did a lap trying to work out where we were and had to crawl down a street with a bit of traffic and lots of tourists crossing holding it up - a few minutes of first and second gear at least. Much appreciated

Check Oil red light when running

Rode from Brisbane to Byron Bay today via Kyogle and Lismore - probably a little over 220km. As we were pulling into the carpark at the beach and looking for a park, the red check oil light and the oil can icon came up on the display. Bike was running normally with no untoward noises. Stopped...

Griso - Blowing main 30amp Fuse

It has red and green/red so right hand side physically (on my bike at least) looking to the front and left hand on the circuit diagram. Apologise for the confusion as I had not seen the circuit diagram when I first described it physically but is the same one all along. It is the the one...
