Where did you get the kit from Jim and what was the cost?
I was looking at Wilbers front and rear but they don't offer a front fork kit for my 2009 1200 sport 4v.
Thanks, Ian
Cheers for the replies and apologies for the delay in responding. The reason I asked was I was going to approach some local tuning shops to see if they could map my Guzzi and thought if they had experience with other models using the same ECU then I might get a better result IYKWIM.

Can anybody tell me what ECU my 2009 1200 Sport 4v uses but more importantly what other bikes might use the same ECU, some Aprilias I would imagine and possibly a few Ducatis?
Thanks , Ian
Only 14,000 miles on my 12 Sport so far. 1 minor oil leak fixed by the previous owner, can't remember what, where, why. Then at around 10k the final drive bearing started making quite a bit of a racket on a weekend trip so I had the bike recovered and a new bearing fitted , all good. Other...
Re: 1200 Sport Pic Thread
Hi , from the UK , just thought i'd post a few pics of my 2009 1200 Sport.
Owned for 2 yrs now, mods include GPR Can, adjustable pegs from Moto International, paint enhancements to tank & front fender, carbon hugger, carbon engine cover, venture shield paint...
Thanks for all the replies guys, very useful as always. The bikes done 10.5k miles and I doubt the filter has been replaced so I may as well get a new one as suggested. ;)
I need to swap out all all the internals of my current tank to put them on/into another tank. Before I go ahead and do the swap does anyone know if I need to order any replacement seals or gaskets first... I want to be able to avoid having the vehicle off the road for a length of time awaiting...

Thanks for the replies guys....make your own risers sounds like an easy job if you have the skills and the eqpt...sadly I lack both.
I should have said that mine is a 2009 8v so it sounds like it already has slightly higher bars which I wasn't aware of B)
Like most Sport owners i'm having an issue with the bars...bit too wide , rather too far away.
Having done a lot of reading on here I can see that most go for the Mana bars conversion but that seems like a bit too much hassle and cost so I would prefer to go the simple riser route . Rox risers...
Its all in the title ....Dynojet UK dont list the Sport12 8v on their applications BUT they do list the Norge which i'd put money on having the same loom/wiring harness.
Anyone in the UK or US fitted one ?
Thanks in advance. ;)
Ian
