    2024 V85TT Updates - 3 variants offered

How have they managed to incorporate variable valve timing on the latest V85? I would have thought this would need some major work to the engine top end.

    Left hand grip moving.

My left hand handlebar grip is moving about 2mm,which I find annoying (call me OCD).I notice the grip is on a black plastic inner tube around the actual handlebar. Is it possible to glue this to the bar,or is this a bad idea? Any alternative solutions?

    V100 saddlebags note and warning!

Are the OEM panniers worth it,those who have fitted them? I only ask because I do not know whether to splash out on a pair (at £900 in the UK they are pricey),or wait for Shad to bring out a set. What do people think?

    v100S clutch problems

You are wrong there.Every Suzuki I have had (a good few) have had brilliant, faultless gearboxes. So did my Kawasaki Versys 1000.So you CAN have a faultless gearbox.

    Suspension Auto and Manual

Everybody is different.I think it is worth it,not just because of the Ohlins.I prefer the two tone colour scheme, plus the heated grips and TPMS.Not fussed about the quick shifter, but some may like it.

    Suspension Auto and Manual

I notice quite a big difference between A2 and M2 settings.M2 is more compliant, and takes the edge of sharp bumps.Definetly more comfortable, whilst still preventing the bike getting out of shape,at least at the speeds I ride!

    Suspension Auto and Manual

My manual is not very informative on the differences between the manual and auto suspension set up on the S model. When in manual,is the suspension still semi active,or are the settings constant? In other words when in a manual setting, does the suspension still automatically adjust the damping...

    S model suspension set up.

Hi, I have looked in my manual and there is no mention of how to go into the menu and alter the damping settings on my S model.I would like to make the rain mode a custom set up with much softer settings than standard.Anyone know how this is done please?

    Hazard lights.

Anyone know why there are no hazard lights on the V100? I thought it would be a legal requirement these days. This is the only bike I have had in recent years that seems to not have them.

    Running rich?

Checked my oil level today (it was fine),and noticed it smelt of petrol. Also the silencer outlets were a bit sooty.Do these bikes run a bit rich,or is it just mine? Will be going for its first service soon,so will mention it then.Bike runs fine, and is getting 50mpg (imperial).
