I used a dremel with a cut off wheel when I did mine - I cut off about 2-3" in a concave shape to nestle the Wunderluch blade in - works great for me & really stiffens the windowshield.
After cutting use a sanding drum to smooth & then hand sand edge
super crappy photo -
Finally got around to taking a couple pics of the Wunderluk spoiler I installed.
I also cut the windshield down a bit and made a concave cut on the top edge - to shorten and stiffen. Works for me is all I can say
Did mine this weekend, glad I did
30k miles - some grease present in the needle bearings of the linkage as to be expected from the recall replacement
Pivot bearings were fairly dry - didn't look like any grit made it past the seals but some evidence of minor water ingress
Re-packed all with...
I used the wunderluch one - I cut the top of the windshield down in a concave fashion to remove about 3" of material at the center as it was right in my field of vision
works great! - the cut out and additional edge area really stiffen the windshield and the wing lofts the wind over my helmet...
Yeah but doesn't the ABS/ASC read wheel speed (impulses from wheel ring) and compare back to front.
IIRC the bikes that have convertible Motad wheel sets have a setting to change between wheels
Your vent is plugged - could be your charcol canister(US Bike), or one way valve backweard, or mud dabber in end of vent hose etc.
Cannister is in front under the dash, one way valve on RH side of fairing - hose end is in front of the engine on RH side of skid plate
I had it on my new NTX & from other posts elsewhere it appears quite common
I cleaned and used dielectric grease the first 2 times and it kept coming back. Asked Mike at MPH and he told me to re-clean and use vaseline
It's been fine since
I assume it's got something to do with the way AGM...
Re: Cross-fitting Norge Scoops for Heat Management on Stelvi
Best way is to increase cooling is to increase airflow
Best way to increase airflow is to go faster :geek:
I had that flash a couple times that I noticed - first time as I was riding out of Houston on a trip, so it was convienient to stop by MPH and have them do a look see
Larry said it is sometimes a poor connector to the oil pressure sending unit that causes intermitent contact...hence momentary...
I get it on my 2012 with regular tappets - 1/2 second clatter on start-up. Sounds like a cam chain tensioner that bleeds down a tiny bit...but don't really have a clue
Since I'm standing on the LH side it sounds like its coming from there. I have to take the bike in for a non-related...
At low speed I think what you are seeing is the backlash in the drivetrain that shows up due to the power pulses - on the center stand the extreme angle makes it seem worse
However since yu go punched in the back better safe then sorry by pulling it and checking it out - if nothing else it's a...
That's a tough one
- but I'd guess if they used a car tire changer the center stud/speed nut up thru the center of the hub and heavy bead breaking jaws could have pulled the hub and rim out of true with enough force to cause this issue
Bike tire changers I'm used to grip the outside of the rim...
OP is in the Netherlands -
If it's the non-NTX version then as supplied by MG only thier plastic panniers will fit up to the notches on the back end plastic
If you purchase the SWMototech rack (as supplied factory on the NTX)you have the choice of the Trax alu panniers (SWMototeck brand), the...
I bought one but can't seem to seem to get the thicker elastic part between the shock and swing arm...one day when I remove the shock to lub the bearings I'll put it on
