  • There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
  • Be sure to see the GTM STORE link also above for our 700+ product inventory, including OEM parts and many of our 100% Made-in-SoCal-USA GTM products and engine kits. In SoCal? Click the SERVICE tab above for the best in service, tires, tuning and installation of our products or custom work, and don't miss our GT MotoCycles® (not) art on the BUILDS tab above. WE'RE HERE ONLINE ONLY - NO PHONE CALLS MADE OR RECEIVED - DO NOT EMAIL AND ASK QUESTIONS OR ASK TO CALL YOU.
  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. We really appreciate every $ and your support to keep this site ad-free. Create an account, sign in, upgrade your account, and enjoy. See you on the road in 2024.

European Trip, How far is too far?

Being a new tourer I might hazard a comment. First of all you didn't actually list any mileages, daily or total, and frankly I can't be bothered to check the distances you plan. I did a tour of Europe in last September, about 9000km in 16 days or so. That included a couple of 800+ km days (two...

V7 Classic aftermarket pics and videos

Listening on proper hi-fi equipment sounds more authorative without the baffles. Then again internet videos are pretty useless for sound no matter what you use to listen to the sound. First the camera's mic overloads, then the sound gets compressed by software - usually more than once before...

    Times change, life moves on.

pete roper wrote: Hmm, how can I verify if I'm worthy of owning a Guzzi? I've thought of getting a one for a while and now more seriously than ever before but I'd hate to ruin the brand for the righteous Guzzisti. Then again I tend to get highly irritated and fed up with various...

    New Metzler Z6 Interact

guzzibob wrote: Happened to me too on the way back from Central Europe. Just about as I was crossing the border from Germany to Denmark I noticed the rear Z6 was starting to show its "underwear". Still had more than 1000km home. Rode to the next bigger town and had the rear replaced (another...

A bit more of a heads up on the 8V grenade issue.

Re:A bit more of a heads up on the 8V grenade issu pete roper wrote: I'll lend a hand in case people are getting tired ;) Until the issue/problem/feature is clearly identified and resolved/corrected/embraced by the manufacturer, endless speculation most likely will continue... This...

Bellagio screen and pannier pictures required

I took about 300 pics at the 2009 Helsinki Bike Show yesterday but unfortunately my camera decided it would be terribly funny to only take vga resolution pics even though I especially checked before that the camera was set to take 5 Mpix pictures! So my pics are mostly practically useless...

    Norge Top Case lock

Does someone know who actually makes the luggage? Givi/Kappa? I believe all their hard luggage has easily replaceable lock cylinders so you can change them to have just one key (panniers + top box). If the lock cylinder is the "standard" one they should be available from any Givi/Kappa dealer.

Stelvio Tyre Options, Opinions and Reviews

RJVB wrote: Wow, that's impressive. I've had a couple on my Suzuki GSX650F and the rear ones start showing the inner structure at around 10 000 km, the front is good for about 15, so two fronts for three rears. I understand this is kind of average durability for sport touring tires, many...

Wayne Orwig wrote: I have a set just like that on my current non-Guzzi. Actually it looks like exactly the same set, even the switch sticker is 100% same. Probably the same Taiwanese parts are sold all over the world by countless dealers... If you can get the original grips off (try...

    Norge Starter Issue

A fully charged, properly functioning battery should have a voltage of close to 13 volts. I've seen 12 volts listed as a "replace immediately - no longer serviceable" limit in several sources. Charge the battery and measure the voltage directly from the terminals using a multi meter. Check...

    The Weight Issue

Or are you guys in denial? "It's a feature, not a problem!" ;) :P When it came out they claimed 215 kg (474 lbs) dry weight. In the test ride articles all the test riders were rather suspicious if that could be true, I recall. Now in a magazine listing all the 2009 models available in...

SW Motech tank bag for Breva, Norge & Sport

Re:SW Motech Tank Bag for Breva Norge & Sport The Bags Connection tank bags are stiff enough that they won't touch the paint at all, unless you put bricks in them or something. Of course this may vary somewhat from model to model. Also with magnetic tank bags one tends to sooner or later...

    Stelvio Feedback solicited

Well, I admit to not being an expert, but I will still claim that anyone who knows anything about the administrative culture and apparatus of the former USSR will pay a lot of money and make considerable efforts to have absolutely nothing to do with it! :) The vehicle taxation was...
