Don't know if you remember, but i have a friend that ships containers of bikes to Australia (Melbourne) 3-4 time a year. You actually just missed one last week. I spoke with him yesterday and he can get it to Auz or forward freight on to NZ, whatever you wish, it all helps with his shipping...
Jon, i've got the NOLO or ROLO book on fighting tickets, you can have it. It's quite informative on how to fight your tickets. I was set to fight mine, but my mother took sick the weekend before the case was to go to court and i had to fly back to London. I called the courts and asked for a...
Todd, a question for ya... The Stelvio at Pro Italia, do you have any info on it????
I know he's maked it up at top, top Dollar, but i might be interested if i trade in the Griso and he's willing to give me top whack for mine.....
Thanks
Mark
I looked into a set of twin pipes from BOS, $1850 + US dollars. A bit rich for my blood, but definitely good looking.. I went finally with the Quat D system, shorter than the Mistral. I really like it. http://www.qdexhaust.it/products/GUZZI/ ... cheda.html
Final got the tank off the G11 after dicking with the not so f@#king quick, quick release..... Question for y'all, i read 6-7 times here that some line could fall off of or in the tank and needs a couple of stainless jubilee clips as a better replacement than the original, but for the life of me...
Most carry a few items, but there are plenty of after market items available online with short lead times. MG adds are usually expensive and not always the best. Do a little research here, there are some very nice photos of Grisos decked out with extras.
Todd, i'm there that weekend too...There's several of going (i'm the only Guzzi), we'll look out for ya...We're staying in Ridge crest Fri night, then motoring around the valley Sat and on to Beatty, NV for Sat night. Anyone looking for cheap lodgings try the Atomic lodge in Beatty, cheap ($46...
There was a thread some time ago where somebody had attached 2 K&N cones directly to the back of the throtte bodies. I just searched for it, but was unsuccessful. It looked quite effective, it actually looked really good and he insisted it worked very well. He did put the K&N model #'s etc on...
I'd like to, i wanna get with you Todd on a couple of items. Out tonight, so depends on the severity of the hangover....lol (best of it is, i'm not joking)....
What time you looking at being there....
Mark
if it was fri afternoon it was me (long way round to Willow). If it was Sunday, there is another Griso floating around Venture...I have yet to meet the owner, but my wife who know squat regarding bikes (but knows a Griso), see's it occationally out side the gym she goes to on Telegraph....
rayingram, don't panic on the ECU change out, no real mechanical knowledge needed. I watch Todd swap mine in less than 10 mins and that's with me bugging him with a mountain of question...Do try and get the 003 map and make sure your TPS is set correctly (mine was way off). If you can swing it...
Pete, your giving me a seriously hard time here. I was just hoping someone smarter than me had come up with a quick lock tank bag solution. All the checking around i'd done, i found none that fit the Griso. They actually exclude the Griso and the Breva, but cover all other Guzzi's..... i was...
