    Daytime Running Lights

In Norway it is mandatory for all vehicles to have DRL. Makes it much easier to see other trafficants, especially mc´s.

    Nuovo Falcone

I have yet to get an English version of the owner manual, have only seen them in German or Italian. As I am as good in German as I am in Italian the manual is as usable to me as an extra hole in my head! :D If you find a source please let me know.

Improving the Air Cleaner on the Nuovo Falcone Civile

Griso: Replace front wheel bearing: Which side first ?

First I have to state that I have not changed the bearings on a 8V but if it is like most other bikes it does not matter what side you start with.

Is anyone ok with their stock Griso?

I was realy happy with my G850, but then again Mr. Roper himself said that that one was the best one from the factory. In fact after testing both I choosed the 850 over the 1100!

    Oils and Thoughts

I am sick and tired of theese oil threads. Why do you think a motor manufacturer would recomend a certain viscosity range? Pure guess! I do not care what you put into your engines just don´t come running complaining about a f--ed engine after a while and say that Piaggio/Guzzi is making poor...

    Won't pull past 6,800 rpm

See, I learn something new every day! First my memory of the Griso and second: read full post before answering! :D Just made a fool out of myself and have to go and get another beer as punishment! Never ever am I going to make THIS mistake again.

    Won't pull past 6,800 rpm

Have you checed that you do not have the "run in" rev. limiter engaged? I do believe that You can select this by entering the menues on the dash. I do not know about the new NTX but on my Griso there was something like that.

    Turning in problem

Adjust the suspension, did it on my Griso and it transformed from a slug to a swallow! The best invested two hours ever. Just rode around and tried different settings to find what suited my riding, ended up on the hard side with a lot of preload and redampening but what a difference it made in...

    Nuovo Falcone flywheel removal, How!!

Good to hear that it is all solved. You are right, they are fun to ride and are very steady and I think the bike could take twice the power without any other upgrades than to the brakes. In Germany/Holland they are tuned and raced but I know too little about it to give you any details. By the...

    griso 850/1100-buyers guide

The fuel pump/filter/hose assembly is not good from the factory, there is a service bulletin out on that. Most have had it done I think by now. It seems the 850 is the best sorted from the factory(P.Ropers words) and the one I owned had no issues what so ever. They are mostly bulletproof. I...

    Steel Pushrods

I would go for a set of Titanium pushrods if I was racing anything with pushrods. Here is one link, one of several suppliers. Kind of expensive but if you want the best......? :D http://www.paeco.com/Titanium%20Products.htm http://www.paeco.com/Valve%20Train%20Equipment.htm

    Condensation in speedo

Well, it´s not a cure but I had my speedo cloud up on my Griso but after a short ride it allways cleared. I didn´t do anything about it as it was only a minor problem after each wash.

    Nuovo Falcone flywheel removal, How!!

Sorry, I thought you had the nut and bolt off. Guess I did not read the post properly. The center bolt is right hand threaded and the castelated nut is left hand threaded like said above and the flywheel sits on a taper with a keyway....(I used a hammer and a driver!makes dents in the...

    Nuovo Falcone flywheel removal, How!!

If I remember correctly :? the flywheel itself is not screwed on, it sits on a taper! Get a big extractor (or puller or what ever you call it) and pull it of. Bare in mind it is a while since I had mine off!

    Faultless foreign foray

I do not understand the "reliability" issue that haunts Guzzi, here ,at least, they are seen as long runners. Took my G850 for a 3500km (2200miles, for you metric handicapped folks!)trip and I had no doubt! It never crossed my mind that my bike would let me down, and it did not fail me!

    Why would anybody care?
