    Throbbing (warped?) rotors.

Just a thought. I had severe throbbing from the front brakes on my '08 1200 Breva when coming to a stop or going slowly down a steep hill. Turned out to be badly glazed brake pads. Scuffing them up on rough concrete then a good clean completely solved the problem.

    50,000 km Service Completed

Hi Oz12 I've had the tank and the airbox off my B12 to replace the oil pressure sensor but I'll be buggered if I can get a socket or standard ring spanner or anything else on the damned thing. Was it a standard 21mm socket and driver you used ? I'm envious when I see how easy it is on a Cali...

    New V7 Stone in OZ

Thanks for the responses chaps. A few black stones around on the road around the GC and in Action motorcycles and Tony Armstrong's but if I sell the Breva I'll wait for a white one. The matte black doesn't appeal to me at all. Some may think this sacrilege but I have this foible in that I also...

Are there any Bellagio's in the states?

I live down under and there are many (relatively speaking) Bellagios in OZ. I know three owners locally and they all love theirs. Very good ergos for shortarse people and perhaps lady riders too. I don't know why some model lines aren't sold in the US but I do know that most Guzzis sold here...

    Breva 1200 fuel filter

Thanks for the advice everyone Well I pulled the pump/filter unit out this morning and boy am I glad I did. Plastic part of the filter was swollen and distorted, probably would have lasted a while but I'm very happy I've got a nice new all metal filter in there. After shopping around a few...

    Breva 1200 fuel filter

Hi all, I have a 2008 Euro spec B1200 (naked 2V Norge). Can anyone advise if my bike will have the well known half plastic in-tank fuel filter ? I can't find a build date anywhere, is it part of the VIN ? VIN is ZGULPG0048M111301 Edit: I don't use any fuel with Ethanol added, not...

    Mode switch question

Yes mine is 28315. All sorted now thanks to your combined help. Bike going in for major service tomorrow 20,000 km. I'm getting the splines and swingarm pivot lubed as well. Love this bike, only worry I have is if I get electrical gremlins far from home when it's a bit older. Cheers and beers,

    Mode switch question

Hi, I have an '08 B1200 with the stock left hand switchblock MODE button. Not sure if mine is faulty or I'm using it incorrectly. Can't follow the English translation in the owner manual very well. When I push right or left momentarily it cycles normally throught the various readings, max...

Thank goodness you had a full-face lid. Good luck with your ankle injury, they hurt a lot but not as much as an abbreviated nose and lower mandible. Cheers,

help! Breva 1100 died on the highway

Hmmm, anyone know if an '08 Breva 1200 would have the same filter ? (B12 is basically a naked 2V Norge) I've mastered the plastic tank connector thingy, is the pump and filter easily removed from the tank ? thanks,

    clutch screach... brake chatter

Vivo et al, I realise this is a long lost post but I have a Breva 1200 2V and had identical issues. The screech when I let my clutch out from a cold start is minor and goes away when warm so I just learned to live with it. I had major (and I mean major to the point of being dangerous) brake...
